St Johnstone will have a bit of confidence after their draw at Celtic Park though and feeling like they can build on it with their first 3 points. Could be a properly exciting game though, two clubs who are very different from the last meeting. If the above predicted Dundee line up is true then they'll have only 3 players who played that day (Kerr, McGhee, McCowan), same with us (Gordon, MacPherson, May). As it stands we'll be close, if not identical, to the Celtic line up. Probably find out tomorrow if Mitov and Considine can make it, suspect one will and one won't. Mitov Olufunwa - McClelland - Gordon - Robinson Phillips - Smith Costelloe - Taylor-Cooke - Carey May Real benchmark game for the MacLean era. An opponent we ideally need to be taking 3 points from, but we’re in the early stages of putting a new team together and a long way from being up to speed. We’ve shown nothing going forward in our three matches so far, so need to show something this week whilst also producing another good defensive performance. I don't think St Johnstone are anywhere near a crisis that they are being made out to be in, but that is probably just my naivety as to the daily ongoing in Perth. We are a totally different team to the several before that St Johnstone have played and because of that I'm going in to this game with a lot of optimism.
