Boo Khaki Posted September 8, 2023 Share Posted September 8, 2023 KC a different proposition without their best player on D and Mahomes safety-blanket, but the fact the Lions can play an imperfect game, leave points on the field, and still win in Arrowhead suggests KC really isn't the steamroller they've been hyped up to be. That game was similar to pretty much every KC v LAC game over the past 5 or so seasons, the difference being the Lions managed to hold off a gimped KC outfit, whereas the Chargers persistently get the better of KC for 55 minutes but usually find some way to blow the game at a crucial juncture. I think the season by season depletion of KC's offensive weapons might finally start to show, and that D has been cruising along in garbage mode for years anyway, so it isn't capable of picking up the slack and bailing the O out when it fails. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
