I thought that might have been obvious. As for the second part of your post, are you suggesting Meloni isn’t an “actual fascist”? There’s also one major difference between France and Italy, and that’s that the fascist in France didn’t get elected and the one in Italy did. Sorry I didn't realise you weren't serious, that was far from the worst take I've seen on the internet today so it was definitely plausible. Meloni wasn't elected by 41% of Italy, the problem is that parties that should know better put her in power. I'm not saying Italy is better than France, just that it's not worse. They were in the driving seat to make a European final but were clearly desperate to keep their unbeaten run going, so they ended up looking like the side who needed to score to go through. Making the final almost seemed secondary to them extending their run.
