I remember Boruc intentionally kicking Dargo 6 feet in the air when he’d no chance of the ball, and Dargo was in on goal.

Yellow.

And I’m sure there are millions of such examples.

Did you think it should have been a red at the time or were you happy it was a yellow?

"What's he supposed to do" says Sutton - maybe not go studs up into the head of the goalkeeper at chest height? The player must know there's a chance of making contact even if you do get the ball.

Sutton calls for action surrounding head injuries and concussion, well this is the sort of thing that should be a red card as it's quite obviously serious foul play (endangering the safety of an opponent). Red cards are needed here so that players think twice about their actions, as we've seen in rugby with the protocols on head contact and tackle heights. This would be a red card in rugby - head contact, foul play, high degree of danger, no mitigation - and should be in football as well.

We are now at the stage where you can't go for a ball for fucksake.

You can go for the ball. If he hit the ball and put it in the back of the net and didn’t kick the keeper in the face you would be at 1-2 with 11 men on the park.

Also know your talking utter shite.

It’s a red card in any game, anywhere. You just don’t get to do that in the current game irrespective of force and intent and no matter the colour of your strip

you’re*

Unlucky Saints. You held out for so long!

Course Thistle are so much better than Saints it must be a few years since they scored against you.🫢

You think people were getting sent off for that type of challenge the last time Dundee won a Scottish Cup?

It’s been a red for as long as you’ve been a cųnt.

Ah, okay.

That makes sense.

So if it was a Rangers game it’d be on ex-Celt, one ex-Ranger and one Ranges fan.

From the times Ive seen, they have tended to have Boyd as the pro-Rangers pundit. They'll then have a pro-Celtic one (in this case Brown, has been Lennon and Petrov recently). McFadden tends to get papped in the middle as a "neutral", despite everyone knowing his allegiance.

Very rarely do they try bringing someone in with history/knowledge of the old firm's opposition unless its Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen.
