McDiarmid is apparently plan B if Dens fails a Tuesday pitch inspection.

What if it passes the Tuesday inspection but it rains on Wednesday?

Which it’s forecasted to do.

Dundee should be well up for this after watching todays game, I can see the fans getting on the players backs if Dundee keep things tight at the back.

Celtic - Sporting integrity. Dundee playing this after securing top six means their players heads will be on the beach. SPFL handing Rangers the three points.

Rangers - Sporting integrity. Dundee playing this after securing top six means their players will be relaxed and able to play with no fear. SPFL doing their best to help Dundee beat us.

If anything seeing Ross County scud them strengthens Dundee’s resolve.

It probably would have been better if they were still scrapping for top six, but now they’ll be looking at a potential free chance to bolster their push for Europe now, as opposed to expecting a doing.

A point’s a massive result for us. Means we have to match St Mirren’s results against the rest of the top 6 and beat them at Dens to finish 5th.

Even without a point, matching St Mirren’s results, then beating them 3-0 or better would be enough.

True but we have 6 games to catch them so losing to 'gers on Wednesday wouldn't be fatal.

The forecast for Dundee seems ok for the next few days, so  hopefully Dens Pond will  be fine for our players to swan about.
