BucksburnDandy
9 minutes ago, tarapoa said: Has Inverness ever truly embraced this merged club? it feels far too big and prominent a place (including surrounding catchment area) to have their team languishing in the third tier. Having moved up here, it feels like a weird mix of ****, **** and then incoming migrants like myself who bring their teams with them. There are Caley Thistle supporters about but the club do nothing to attract younger fans or retain their older fans. Couple that with Gardiner being a c**t who has turned business in the city against the club and it is a bad mix. Goodness knows what happens to that club now, but horrendous cuts and probably part time football feel inevitable right now.

I wonder how the two clubs who merged would be doing today had they not merged. An interesting alternative reality. They've never been in the 5th tier. Thistle were broke. They'd be a bottom end HL team now.

At least you’ll have that to cling on to when you and the other 497 punters take your seat to watch whatever jobbers you can afford play Kelty Hearts. Enjoy the seaside…if you survive.

invergowrie arab
Caledonian FC and Meadowbank being relegated. Scottish football is healing. The Caley fans in here are a good bunch (except you know who) but the club are an abomination in the eyes of God.
