Ian Murray has done well at Raith. When he was with us it was too early in his managerial career. Knows the club but Hibs are not renowned for giving managers a lot of breathing space before pulling the plug.

What could McInnes achieve at Hibs that he couldn't at Kilmarnock? You'd have a worse fanbase in terms of backing him too.

He'd get paid more money and have a far better chance at sustained success.

It's an obvious move to take, and if Hibs want him then the only way they won't get him is if McInnes sees that it's a proper shambles behind the scenes. If Hibs ask to speak to him, what McInnes does will be quite instructive.

McInness would be my choice. Robinson is a terrible manager and should be avoided at all costs.

It doesn't matter who they appoint, they're not giving anyone a chance to sort the mess out that already exists, it's quite funny that they're blaming Monty for where they are now .

Michael Stewart on the radio at the weekend (I know, I know) suggested that Montgomery wasn't the problem, but "behind the scenes" was. 

Does that opinion cut any ice with Hibs fans?
