Have some faith in Magic
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8889d7x8j4o One dead after plane hits turbulence. New underpants required after that flight. I generally wear my seatbelt when on a plane, had a couple of really bumpy flights but thankfully none of these ones where folk end up with broken bones or concussion.
Melanius Mullarkey
One for Air Crash Investigations. I mind once on an Edinburgh Heathrow flight hitting some turbulence over Manchester or some such and the wifie in front of me along with her glass of plonko blanco shot out her seat and hit her noggin on the baggage bin above her. She was fine but it was hilarious.
superbigal
I sustained a head injury standing up on a Loganair flight. Shoebox.
Granny Danger
Widening this out, I hate flying and have had some horrible experiences. The worst was trying to land at Hainan airport; three failed attempts before heading back to Hong Kong.* The sooner that Star Trek style transporters are invented the better. * Fucking Dragon Airlines…
Ross.
Maybe next time they’ll wear their seatbelt… Had a few horrendous experiences on that score. Turbulence when flying back from Australia saw me lose a few lbs in sweat, but the worst was an aborted landing when just about to touch down, never felt anything like that and never want to again.

Melanius Mullarkey
No video footage yet but this was on the FlightRadar24 feed. Although that could just be a normal RyanAir flight tbqh.

Salt n Vinegar
If there was a couple involved in the "mile high club" when the turbulence hit, they'd have to be separated by pretty extensive surgery... Edited May 21 by Salt n Vinegar

Barry Ferguson's Hat
Worst I've ever been on was a flight between Dublin and Edinburgh that hit flatulence. It got so bad they had to drop the masks.

With a lot of jump seat flying as a controller letting me see how little pilots could do to either predict or avoid turbulence, I’ve always worn a seatbelt, reasonable snug, at all times. The problem is other people, and the crap they take out and strew all around them. If serious turbulence hits, it all becomes missiles.
