The SPFL set out on this course when they invited non Scots and B teams in. Lowland League clubs can't complain about that, because they sold their soul to them. I can get where linlithgow and Tranent are coming from, but would they have complained if it had been Welsh and Irish teams again? Given the teams that have been invited, I'd be stunned if the extra money that's being trumpeted turns them into contenders. In the same statement, they say that Hearts B finished 2nd and that B teams are removed from league placings. If there are places up for grabs, they should be earned on merit. But for these clubs to complain about "guest" teams being invited into a competition arbitrarily, without earning their spot, is fairly hilarious. Even when the Welsh and Irish teams were invited they were usually decided on some sporting criteria rather than picked. You've got yer Regionals on this very page calling the entire SPFL a "gang" when none of the clubs have even voted for this. Lowland League clubs have continually voted them into their league despite telling us all it would be a one season thing.
