Not sure if Labour MPs are blind or if they’re just scared of taking over the shit show that is the U.K. Either way it is an abject failure of leadership at a time Labour should be capitalising on Tory failure and disunity. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/jun/11/poll-says-keir-starmer-worse-choice-for-pm-than-boris-johnson The irony of Ed Milliband regularly sounding much more Prime Ministerial than Starmer is surely not lost on Labour MP's and voters.

There has to be better options than Starmer but there’s no way he will be challenged. I still think Labour can win the next GE but probably as a minority government. Starmer will then spend his time doing nothing of significance before being booted out at the following election.
Highlandmagar
Starmer being investigated by parliamentary commitee on standards over breaches of earnings and gifts! Lol

Lol Expect more of this. Every time Johnson is in trouble, the Tories will pressure someone into making it look like Starmer is in the same boat.

Late declarations of gifts received apparently (something Johnson has been reprimanded for too) but if his main selling point is that he's more scrupulous that Johnson then it seems pretty clear that Starmer should have done his utmost to ensure he avoided this particular pratfall.

Its so predictable, today some tory was on radio talking about rail strike and how they are basically clueless and have washed their hands of doing anything on it and the clown still managed to mention Starmer and beer and curry somehow

Detournement
Hopefully Starmer has slit his own throat today. Banning front benchers from picket lines is absurd, no one who gets angry about that is going to vote Labour anyway. This is going to be a big problem for him at the conference. Unions and members aren't going to forget this.
