It has a sponsor. Takes 10% from games after match official expenses.

Final at Broadwood is now because the WoSFL got a package deal for all finals, prior to that a WoSFL were asked if they were willing to host.

If you can prove that cost of assistants for the semis, the cost of the final costs league thousands I'd like to see the working on that?

Of course you don't care about the costs. Otherwise you wouldn't be suggesting a 3rd inter-league trophy existing in the Lowland area amongst the smallest clubs with all the travel that would be involved in it.

You can't be suggesting it's free.

Quite clearly FairWeatherFan is not suggesting that
It sounds like its part of a deal that the WOSFL have made but none of us know so it could have been thrown in free as part of the deal or cost 20% of the deal or was the main cup that Broadwood owners decided the price on the deal.

How many years is the deal for to play at Broadwood,  anyone know?

As long as they keep providing custard creams for the WoSFL committee meetings

Semis are Maryhill v Forth and Eglinton v St Cadoc's on 19th October.

This weekend the SOS are playing their semis (one of which is 1st v 2nd in the league) and the EOS are playing their quarters (favourites being Premier Division Whitburn).

Eglinton gave a good account of themselves against St Cadocs.

A bad mistake and a debatable penalty left them with an uphill battle. Second half they created several good chances, didn't look 3 divisions between the teams.

With St. Cadoc's in this, it's been a waste of time from the start for the others.

It hasn't really. We've seen plenty of cup upsets this year and basically every year. St Cadoc's were favourites from the start, but they haven't won anything yet.

Imagine if Lossie Utd had that kind of thought.

St Cadoc's v. Forth meet in the Final.

Is there a venue good enough to hold such a prestigious game?
My vote would be for Gartcairns cage.

Podium for the ball, electronic scoreboard, seems a fitting venue.

I think there was 2 St Cadocs fans at Kilwinning today.

Diver on an alleged £600 a week strutting his stuff for St Cadocs.

From a sporting perspective, what's the point?

A club without fans is nothing.
