Sonam
Yet again Celtic & Rangers get a nice convient home draw in the Lesgue cup. This competition has become a joke. Far too often! Let's see an away draw in Dingwall, County would probably lose, but at least maybe a test. Or away to Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee, Hibs that would be highly entertaining. At home, all other teams players, ALL players have to play out of their skins to win! While it still happens occasionally, rarely expect, rarely watch! Good luck to St. Johnstone & Hibs. -

Are the seeded teams not guaranteed a home draw? ETA: Obviously not Edited July 29 by Jacksgranda sllepnig
Dunfermline Don
Probably another season where they can both get to the final without playing a game outside of Glasgow. One of them may even be able to play all their matches at the same stadium!

Far too often! I can safely say that I utterly despise the OF. I hate both how the game is structured, and how our media behave, in ways deliberately intended to favour them despite the massive advantages they already enjoy. However, what exactly are you objecting to here? Are you implying that the draw is fixed? If it was, surely giving them sides outside the top flight would be a better way of doing it. There is enough genuine injustice round those two clubs, without making daft claims about things that are perfectly straightforward.

Obviously I'm no defender of these two clubs, but neither could have drawn Ross County, Hearts, Aberdeen or Dundee, home or away.
craigkillie
Rangers have had 7 consecutive home draws in this competition, but 5 out of 6 before that were away from home and 6 of their last 8 Scottish Cup draws have been away from home. There is very little to gain and an awful lot to lose by fixing draws to help out teams who are likely going to win anyway.
coprolite
I don't think Craigan would have remembered the system for fixing the draw. He was struggling with alternating pots for the home team.
