2nd vs The Invincibles

Tight game no doubt. Could come down to who has the best subs bench given the injuries on both squads.

What a result it would be to come away with the 3pts but thinking along the lines of 1-1

It's down to what we do about a starting striker tbh. From our side obviously

Same for us tbf. We looked pretty toothless up front yesterday. Bavidge is fine as an impact sub but really need someone to play alongside Oakley. Hopefully we’ll see some movement on that front this week.

Noticed Morrison and MacIver were missing for Falkirk yesterday, either likely to back for Saturday? Two of your  more dangerous players imo and would be a boast for us if they are out.

I’d probably take a draw here to be honest to keep the unbeaten run going. A win would be massive though.

Maciver definitely not, Morrison might make the bench

I felt Falkirk were always going to have an electric start to the season coming off the high of winning League 1, 43 games unbeaten at any level is a hugely impressive (and difficult) feat! That said, I wondered about the lack of proven Championship signings and squad depth and I think that might be starting to play out a wee bit, especially with MacIver out. Ayr are actually suffering from an injury crisis as well and we look pretty punchless without Dowds banging them in. I think this will be cagey as f**k and I'd happily take a point and no more injuries!

McKenzie and Bavidge in for Syla and Walker please. Get Rus into midfield and Dempsey into the space in front of the defence. If McMann is fit then he starts. I’d be tempted to leave the defence as is if he isn’t although I’m not sure Reading deserved to be dropped in the first place.
