Similarly, there was a general election here back in the 1970's where Labour ended up with fewer total votes than the Conservatives but more MPs so Labour formed the government. That's what can happen under our system. The "it's not fair, Hilldawg got more votes!" line is irrelevant. To be clear, I think Trump is a fucking moronic dickhead and not at all suited to being POTUS, but he's legitimately in that position.
