ShakehandsTom - DFC
I'm wanting to watch Die Hard With A Vengeance on Sky Action just now, but it's asking me to enter a 'PIN' because it started 1 minute ago. What is this so-called PIN I have to enter?
Dazzle
I'm wanting to watch Die Hard With A Vengeance on Sky Action just now, but it's asking me to enter a 'PIN' because it started 1 minute ago. What is this so-called PIN I have to enter? You set it in the services section. If it asks what was your old pin, I would imagine you will need to phone sky to find out.
Lisa Cuddy
Unless you've previously changed it, is your PIN not usually the last 4 numbers on your viewing card?

I've never had a PIN before, so can't even enter an old one, to get a new one. Sad face.

xbl
I've never had a PIN before, so can't even enter an old one, to get a new one. Its 4 digits long, and you get 3 goes at a time before it locks you out for 10 minutes, so keep entering numbers, and statistically you're sure to succeed eventually!

I tried that, but it didn't work. I now only have two attempts left.
Lisa Cuddy
I've never had a PIN before, so can't even enter an old one, to get a new one.Sad face. Then it should be as me, Andy and doulikefish have pointed out. Last 4 digits of viewing card number. Edit, I see you have tried that. Erm, how about the old standard default of 0000 or 1234? Going by that method, it could theoretically take me longer than the film lasts, to figure out the PIN. I could discover the correct permutation, but it could be in 12-or-so years time.

However, the downside to that is that of either are incorrect, I will be locked out for 10 minutes before trying again. I am unsure if this is a risk worth taking....

You either stand the chance of watching the film by doing it or not watching the film, as opposed to definitely not getting to watch it because you don't know your PIN!
xbl
I had an accident that very nearly could have been serious. While strimming, I got a bit of grass in my eye. I tried to ignore it, but it got really sore and wouldn't come out, so I went into the house to clean it. Being too lazy to go and get the eyewash, I decided to improvise with a glass of water. So I got a glass with a small opening, put some water into it, and then poured it into my eye. Sadly (and this is going somewhere folks), the glass wasn't quite a good seal around my eye, and so water got everywhere, I quickly leaned forward to stop tilting the glass, but leaned too far and smacked the glass off the tap, ramming the glass right into my eye, which was fucking agony. I then recoiled in pain, dropped the glass, and the fucking thing smashed everywhere, fragments just about going into my eye. Lucky escape, but I shouldn't be left unsupervised. Plus the grass fragment is still in my eye!
