A point away at Villa isnt bad, but to come away disappointed to get a draw shows how far this team has come.

Garry Monk is still the man, Leeds are going up.

Every Leeds fan was on the same boat, did a brilliant job considering. Still a complete snake in the grass, hope he fails wherever he ends up.

Why? For wanting a little bit of credit for job he did with a decent deal? Manager like that don't go for 1 yr deal and it was naive to think otherwise. Good for Garry. He would have stayed if Leeds offered better terms.

He had made his mind up before the talks took place according to the new owner.

Cause he's a snake in the grass and I hope the rest of his career is a failure.

That's not much of an answer. I'll try again, please can you expand on your reasoning for considering Gary Monk to be a snake. I can't see he has done anything wrong.

Interesting comments from a poster on Walesonline

After the disastrous second season he had at Swansea, he shouldn't expect long-term contracts until he has proven that he can build on first season successes. Although switching to the diamond worked at first, when opponents sussed Swansea out eventually, Monk couldn't come up with a Plan B, and couldn't even go back to the previous Plan A. After Bony left, Gomis picked up some of the slack for the first season, but clearly the training methods at the club couldn't keep Gomis in shape during his second season. Now Gomis looks much fitter after leaving Swansea. And Eder seems to have started recovering his old form after leaving as well. So many players had slumps in form after their much anticipated arrivals. Sorry Gary, you ought to realise that nobody's going to open the bank vaults unless you can demonstrate sustained success.

He was offered another year with the option to extend it to a three year deal if him and Radrizzani got on in the first year.

Strange that none of his backroom staff have left yet which would be good if we can keep hold of Clotet, Beattie and Flahavan in the same capacities as before or even make Clotet manager and Beattie his assistant.

Ive since calmed down and no longer believe him to be a snake, a total w**k yes but not a snake.

Wonder who will be appointed?
