Silvio
Some very decent racing at Exeter today. Gone with a lucky 15 on: 2.00 Oh Crick 2.30 Working Title 3.00 Leading Authority 3.30 Ice Melted. So probably best to avoid these...

All placed though but not a lot of money back Unlucky - better luck next time
Haitch
Just noticed that Evens and odds is running in 7 minutes! This was well fancied by the Irish for the 2000 Guineas last year. definate ability and should go very close today. 15:50 Southwell @ 7/2 I am having £20 to win.
Haitch
I have feeling nobody read this one in time - sorry. Came in 1st at 4/1. 5l victory over 6 furlongs is a hell of an achievement. I am feeling pretty good right now and £70 richer at the same time!

Kayster
Well done haitch, bout time you got some luck! Dare you to put some of your winnings on Livingston win tonight I was planning on a massive bet on "PERTEMPS NETWORK" @ Museelburgh tomorrow, but was pulled out today . I was there at musselburgh on it's last 2 runs, won the first time and was very unlucky when falling at the last while 3 lengths clear, last time out, especially gutting as I had £3 E/W on it @ 33/1! It is now engaged to run @ Kelso on monday, keep an eye out for it guys.......... Edited February 12, 2008 by Kayster
Haitch
Cheers guys, I will have a cheeky £5 double on Ross County and Livy! If they both come in I get back £44.80...
Kayster
I have been at musselburgh over the last 2 meetings, the first time I was there, "HALLASAN" won, and looked very impressive, pretty positive he will come up trumps again today. Now I was planning a massive bet today on "PERTEMPS NETOWRK" however was pulled out yesterday, which I was gutted about. This horse ran at the last 2 meeting at musselburgh, first time it won over a 2 mile class 4 event, 2nd time it ran in a class 3 event and was leading by 3 lengths until the last fence where it unseated the rider. Now going back to its first run, it won narowlly and the horse that finished 2nd was "HALL OF FAME" so Im using this as a kind of yardstick, and think this means "HALL OF FAME" is in with a great shout. Keep in mind that "PERTEMPS NETWORK" Is engaged to run at Carlisle on Monday in the 2:35, I will be getting on it for sure. Also "POISEDON" in the first could turn over odds on favourite "LOGANS RUN", and follow up his national hunt flat success from its last trip to Musselburgh. Maybe even go for the reverse forecast between to two to get some value out of it......... So Bets are:- 1.50 - Reverse forecast between "LOGANS RUN" & "POISEDON", Also small singles win on "POISEDON" @ 6/1 3.20 - "HALL OF FAME" Win @ 3/1 3.50 - "HALLASAN" Win @ 10/11 Edited February 13, 2008 by Kayster

I am sure it was a Class 2 race Pertempts Network fell in. Wasn't it the Scottish Triumph Hurdle? Was at Musselburgh on Wednesday there aswell and bet Hall OF Fame. Should have known it wasn't going to win cause it drifted like a barge. Was a beaten horse when it fell. I think it broke a leg and had to be destroyed. May be wrong though

Drops to class 3 event on monday when running at carlisle, so I will be having a max bet on it! I have been following the trainer/jockey partnership of W Easterby/Mr T Greenall, over the last few days, and it has been paying dividends.
Stewartl
I noticed Greenall got the first two at Newcastle the other day, one for Alan Swinbank and one for Mick Easterby. Easterby\Greenall have a particularly good strike rate in bumpers. Sure cant b long before Tom Greenall turns pro as he has been riding as a conditional for a good few years now. As for Gansey, i haven't looked at the race as i am in work but i'd advise against lumping into short priced favs at Fakenham unless it has some previous course form. It's a specialists track as it very tight and you are always on the turn. Very much the Chester of the National hunt scene. Not all horses handle it
