Cardinal Richelieu
I tried shouting hello bishy (I was the steward stopping people running into the pond) but you were very much "in the zone" !
BishyTON
Yeah bud think I saw you before the start - I was the guy in the grey hoodie hanging around with volunteers pre race. I was, as you say, in the zone during the race so didn't hear your shout!

Garrowhillclyde
Jimmy irvine 10k today. Wash pissin' down before the run right up till about 5 minutes before then cleared up a fair bit with a few showers in the middle of the run, but nothing too bad. Good event put on by Bella road runners as usual.

I was, as you say, in the zone during the race so didn't hear your shout! Were you one of the keen chaps who jogged to the event, then had a wee jog roon the pond afterwards? If so - kudos
lau03143
Is there a website that gives a list of upcoming runs in Scotland? Edited November 10, 2013 by lau03143
Jack Burton
Is there a website that gives a list of upcoming runs in Scotland? Scottishrunningguide.com is the one I use.
BishyTON
Scottishrunningguide.com is the one I use. Yeah that is the one I use as well.
Garrowhillclyde
yeah Scottishrunningguide.com is the place. This weekend has pretty much marked the end most of the running events - there's really not a lot on the go for a few months now. Events are pretty few and far between.
RH33
Week 4 started today and covered a km more than Friday. 4k in 34mins. So 1 more k and 4 mins faster and I'll be happy!
Cardinal Richelieu
Good stuff Rowan! Cos I'm scared of the dark, I went to Crownpoint Running Track this evening to run a wee 5k. Paid £2.90 to get in. Worth every penny. Not quite sure what the running track was made of but it was like running about on springs. I was bouncing round the track like trigger. Will defo go back!

Reina
Oh aye, and it's Glack Attack on Saturday. Why did I think this would be fun?
Maxriddles
Oh aye, and it's Glack Attack on Saturday. Why did I think this would be fun? It looks a good event to me although a bit far for me to travel for a 5k event, don't know if you've done an event like this before but they are really addictive and I hope their popularity continues to grow. I decided to do tough mudder with 3 friends and the four of us got totally hooked while triaining for it, Sunday mornings are no longer for hangovers but for running through woods, up hills, through mud and in rivers..it really is fun, albeit blowing out your arse and occaisionally painful fun.
Mr. Brightside
Getting back to running (and hopefully football) after being injured for 9 months is a bit of a c**t.

RH33
Disco duck, I'm sorry I didn't get notification via email of your donation and just saw it. Many thanks! However someone with mental health issues have "disco duck" sponsor me may raise eyebrows
