lichtie23
England batting 9-0 rain interruptions already.Flintoff in for Harmison. Harmison must be gettin pissed off with constantly being dropped. surely this pitch would have suited him currently 42-3, pieterson went for 3 .Strauss for 2 and Bopara for 10

btb
Great start for West Indies (Currently 43/5), my main worry is the weather and the possibility of the Duckworth/Lewis formula being applied. B)

Shengus Khan
*snigger* Shouldn't someone tell England not to bother playing one day cricket?
capybara
Pretty much decided when Windies won the toss. Aye you were correct. Interesting times, Australia not getting everything there own way,and India following on.
Savage Henry
*snigger* Shouldn't someone tell England not to bother playing one day cricket? I wish they would, it's a dead form of the game. Tests and 20/20 is where it's at, as Chris Gayle might say. Possibly.
lichtie23
So Kevin Pieterson admits that he wants to leave the West Indies early and then struggles off with a back injury yesterday...... coincidence?
Slip Digby
So Kevin Pieterson admits that he wants to leave the West Indies early and then struggles off with a back injury yesterday......coincidence? That's exactly what I thought. Heard David Lloyd & Co quite rightly slating him last night saying that he wanted to go home for 48 hours to see his wife. Andy Flower and the ECB said no and he's taken the huff. Again. Fantastic batsman but an absolute cockend of a man. Fuctifano
Nice to see the ICC have made the qualifiers as bloated as the World cup itself, 5 group games then 4 more in the super 8's provided we make that, which we really should.

At this level I think their right, nobody's going to be out there watching it or watching on TV, and sides at this level need all the exposure they can get.
