Bobby Skidmarks Posted June 24, 2013 Share Posted June 24, 2013 How many of the Australian squad would make it into the England team? Other than Clarke, when he is fit, or maybe Watson, I can't think anyone else would be considered. I'd take Watson in at either opener or 6. I like Siddle as a bowler too. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Their batting is weak. Sent from my GT-N8010 using Pie & Bovril mobile app 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Clarke and Bell would be a push dependent on form. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
booitsme7 Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 New Zealand scored 201-4 and England came close only losing by 5 runs. Next T20 is on Thursday. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 I still find it amazing how the ECB get away with airbrushing Wales out of the team, nobody really seems to question it. I know they play a few games in Cardiff but thats about it 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Eednud Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 literally spitting feathers about bairstow getting picked ahead of compton. Agree as he's done and doing well in the Somerset & Worcestershire warm ups. Barstow didn't do well against Essex. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fuctifano Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 Just typed out a large post which disappeared - didn't think that was supposed to happen anymore :/ Gist was I don't think Compo's face fits, I think he knows this with what he's saying in the press, and Bairstow isn't in the greatest of nick himself. Ashes prediction is 2-1 England. In other news Scotland are still in with an outside chance of qualifying for the 2015 50 over world cup but probably need at least 1 win from their last 2 games- both against group leaders Ireland- to qualify automatically at this stage. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Eednud Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 Listening to streaming of the NZ games you're right about face not fitting. So how do you rate our chances v Ireland? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fuctifano Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 Not great tbh, unless England keep stealing all their good players. The games aren't til September tho, by which stage we'll know what we have to do as other teams play their games in hand. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
capybara Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 Well the Ashes start tomorrow, and though i will be lucky if i see much, it will be an interesting contest. Are the Aussies as bad as they are being made out to be? England cetainly have the better attack, but there batting still has the odd wobble or two. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Eednud Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 If stays dry then don't be surprised if Aussies create an upset 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
calum_gers Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 'Howzat: The Kerry Packer story' was on BBC4 the other night, it's available on the iplayer, worth a watch if you've an interest in cricket. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
H_B Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Really looking forward to seeing the Aussies ritually humiliated in the Ashes. Bring it on. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lichtie23 Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Looking forward to setting down and watching this. Got £5 on Chris Rogers to be top Aussie 1st inning run scorer at 5/1 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BigRubberFist Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 A wide off the first delivery. Could be a long summer for the Aussies. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
