Savage Henry
Theres more to this than meets the eye. Pub manager has just said on SSN that NO punches were thrown and that the players were calm and collected with each other minutes after the altercation. As usual we will get the story somewhere in the middle of the truth. I haven't read any claims that punches were thrown, or that there was any bad blood at the end of the evening. But it does sound a little overblown, I agree, but something certainly happened.
Highlandmagyar
First reports this morning on SSN (I know?) said that Warner had SLAPPED Root. Obviously Warners previous indiscretions have gone against him.
Savage Henry
First reports this morning on SSN (I know?) said that Warner had SLAPPED Root. Obviously Warners previous indiscretions have gone against him. Didn't read that. That's certainly changed - the actual Sky coverage and the BBC have been a bit more toned down.
Savage Henry
Ouch. This Sky Reserve team coverage is brutal. Currently treading water trying to pick their dream selections.
Bully Wee Villa
I'm not far away and it's pissing down. Couldn't see them getting any more play, even if they still had the Brumbrella, which they don't.
Jupiter Jazz
Ouch. This Sky Reserve team coverage is brutal. Currently treading water trying to pick their dream selections. Funny, i'd far rather listen to the likes of Allott, Knight and Bob Willis than the likes of Gower and in particular Botham who's awful. booitsme7
England finish on 293-7 and Bopara scored 28 runs of the last over. It was funny watching Billy Bowden chasing his hat and falling over.
Bobby Skidmarks
Waiting patiently for the highlights so I can see Bopara's over, but watching Sankakara bat is something else. I don't know if he's still on the gloves but he has been one of the best wicketkeeper batsmen ever.

booitsme7
Well played Sangakkara and Sri Lanka for chasing down 294 to win with 17 balls left. England will now need to beat New Zealand on Sunday.
Highlandmagyar
Wouldnt bet against New Zealand turning England over on Sunday.
Savage Henry
Wouldnt bet against New Zealand turning England over on Sunday. I wouldn't either. England's team looks a bowler short to me. -
Bobby Skidmarks
I wouldn't either. England's team looks a bowler short to me. Morgans looking out of touch to me and Bresnan, Broad and Swan can all finish a match. Id drop him for Finn.

Bully Wee Villa
I just checked their website and can't find any Ashes tickets available. Do you have to be an MCC member to get the email?
dorlomin
South africa are going like a rocket 200 for 4 before the 30th. Either the windies bowling is pie chucking 101 or the pitch is flat and Gayle could explode.
