Fuctifano
De Villiers is a cracking player- must be next in line for the hair weave treatment tho?
Bearwithme
De Villiers out for 103. Duminy out as well now. SA need 51, 4 wickets left....
jmothecat
20 to win, four overs remaining. Edited December 22, 2013 by jmothecat
Fuctifano
Thought SA chucked it too early there, think they could easily have swung the bat for one more wicket. India will be much happier with the draw.
jmothecat
450-7 at the close of play, match drawn. Enjoyed that.
Bearwithme
Just a touch disappointing at the end but an excellent match overall.

But anybody tuning in to see batsmen hit the ball into the space of a desert and not even run.. emm. Still it was a cracking match
Jupiter Jazz
Cant get my head around this. Going after the world record run chase and SA just fart and die. Wasn't it 16 needed off 19 with three wickets left? What on earth were they thinking about giving up on that?
Bearwithme
To be fair to SA they maybe didn't have as much in hand as it appeared. Tahir is hopeless with the bat and Morkel was injured.

Highlandmagyar
Bairstow is indeed in for Prior, Aussies win toss and put England into bat.

Latino Lover
Great day today, brilliant atmosphere in front of a record crowd. Highlight was probably the whole Aussie team giving the barmy army the shhh treatment after Johnsons late wicket. Hopefully go back on Sunday if the games still alive.
peasy23
Wonder if England's tail can put up any more resistance than they have so far in the series, especially with the new ball still only 10 overs old. Difficult against 90mph+ chin music. Can't see them getting past 300. KP should have a slog before he runs out of partners.

Guest The Phoenix
Bring on a Pietersen ton and England to make 340+. Much needed to bring an element of competitiveness to the state of play.
