Would love him to win That was a huge piece of luck at the last there but he took full advantage and it looks like it's his to lose now. It'll be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure.
Distant Doonhamer
Brilliant round by Wolff. Big test for him tomorrow.
Tartan Dave
Whilst this isn’t the betting page. I have decent bets on Wolff, Reed, oosthuizen, Thomas and some others that have fallen away. Hopeful I’ll get some returns

At this course you take the luck because you know it goes the other way too!
Wee-Bey
One of the great US Open rounds there imo. His to lose now, as a 71 or 72 might even be good enough tomorrow.
Ro Sham Bo
A 65 from hitting just 2 of 14 fairways. That would be remarkable on any course, let alone this one. The only worry for him would be that he's unlikely to get away with similar driving tomorrow.
Distant Doonhamer
Really looking forward to the final round. The course is very tough and yet the rounds so far show a low score is still possible. Bring it on.
peasy23
Yeah he is a very unlikable guy. Think he’s a bit awkward which doesn’t help tbf Tony Johnstone calling him out on Twitter too.
Tartan Dave
I think today the course was great. Birdies were possible but you had to work very hard for them

Really hoping he has a mare and someone else gets to go out with wolff
Ro Sham Bo
If DeChambeau is in the final pairing with Wolff that'll be another issue for him to contend with.
Distant Doonhamer
That’s a sensational shot from DeChambeau.
Ro Sham Bo
He's probably about right to be fair, but it's no surprise at all to hear McGinley state that +1 is the cut off point for contending, given McIlroy's current score.

Wolff's lead now just one when it looked probable he might be leading by 3 or 4 shots.
Tartan Dave
Mindset wise maybe easier for Wolff with someone within 1 rather than 3/4? I think so.
Distant Doonhamer
I’d like to see McIlroy win it . My suspicion is that he’ll press too much, too soon and drop out of contention.

DeChambeau also only hitting just 3/14, hard to believe that the two leading contenders on day 3 would have such a low ratio of keeping the ball on the short stuff from the Tee!? [emoji15]Only 13 players have hit 50% or more of the fairways so far, with the field average around 38%. Of the players at the top, Wolff has only hit 12 out of 42 so far.DeChambeau - 17/42Reed - 13/42Oosthuizen - 19/42Schauffele - 13/42Clear leader on fairways hit is Brendon Todd at 30/42, 5 more than the next best Lucas Glover. Sadly Robert MacIntyre is bottom of the fairways hit chart only hitting 7/42, which would explain his scoring troubles today, when he only found the short grass once.
