peasy23
Rory dunks it in the water on the 11th hole, his second ball to get wet today. Connor Syme finished with a bogey free 66 to get to -11 and might just sneak inside the top 10.
peasy23
Grant Forrest puts it in the water on the par 3 12th and probably brings and end to his chances of a win. Edit: Scrub that, although he doubled it he birdied the next to get back within 2 of the lead. peasy23
This is as strange a Sunday as you will ever see with lots of players in contention then dropping shots out of nowhere. Vincent Norrman hit 65 to claim the clubhouse lead at 14 under, and now leads by 2. McIlroy has just run up an 8 after finding the water twice on 16.
peasy23
A very costly 7 for Calum Hill on the last drops him from T12 to T22nd. Still a decent week and good to see him back healthy.

I think there's a decent chance he'll be a winner again next season. Forrest is t2nd after a birdie at the last and inside the top 30. As for Syme, that's two very good weeks in a row after a quiet season.

Tied 4th in the ISPS event in Ireland, tied 3rd in European Masters and tied 7th today. He looked like missing the cut this week but finished birdie, eagle to make it. Up to 47th in RTD after being well down the list a few weeks back.
peasy23
After a year of doing not a lot, Hurly Long jumps from 150th in the rankings into the top 40 and secures his card for next year, the birdie he made on the last to secure solo 2nd being a big help.
Burnside91
With the summer golf season coming to an end (i know im gutted also), i was looking into maybe joining the links courses at troon over the winter months to still try and get some decent golf in. Anyone any advise or recommendations for where to join. Cheers
bobbydazzler
played a very well baked Mortonhall on Sunday morning, lovely course, good few hills to make your way up and down. Lovely course just a pity about some of the gold played on it,

Noticed aswell the Ryder cup team all went to Rome for a practice day on Monday so Luke seems to be getting them all together nice and early
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
I’m surprised the yanks aren’t doing what we’re doing this weekend and asking all their guys to play and pairing them together. The only ones on their team who are competing are Homa and JT (along with captain Zach Johnson). Perhaps the Brooks factor put them off, obviously he wouldn’t be able to play and they didn’t want the big turd feeling left out.
peasy23
Your regular reminder that golf is hard, and that even 1 degree of a difference at impact can start to make bad things happen.
peasy23
Rory hacking his way around Wentworth at the moment, will be struggling to make the cut. Aberg playing well again.
peasy23
Slow progress today with a lot of hanging around, 1 group just teed off on 17 with 2 other groups waiting. Connor Syme teed off at 1.05 and is currently on the 18th.
Wee-Bey
Aberg has gone from 'unsure if we should pick him' to ' we would have been crazy not to'.

Distant Doonhamer
The pace of play is utterly ridiculous at Wentworth today. There’ll be the usual muttering that something has to be done but without the threat and more importantly delivery of significant sanctions nothing will change.

The last two holes in particular seem to be taking forever, well over an hour to play both holes.
