David W
WTF are Newcastle playing at They need a centre back, in fact they need two!! Guest John McVeigh
My sources tell me the Newcastle are the preferred buyer as far as Everton are conserned as they will get a Striker back as a makeweight (bellemy/ameobi), whereas young Wayne would prefer Man U as the PVC clad grannies of the area are much more appealing (apparently)
Savage Henry
Does Martin O'Neill not own shares in SFX? Could not say for sure, but Bobby Robson does (!) as does Kevin Keegan, Sir Alex Ferguson and, most famously, that guy who was at Aston Villa and Derby and who signed 95% of his players through said agency. Also heard that Newcastle's bid was essentially vacuous. They had no intention of signing Rooney but did it to get the money from Man Utd, in exchange fora choice in Everton players... Aah, John Gregory. Signer (is that a word?) of Bosko Balaban, quite possibly the worst/most corrupt (delete as applicable) signing in football history.
