The Naitch
Taylor won Bull shot but has given Whitlock the darts. He does that every time in set play... take the 1st set against the throw and he'll have Whitlock on the ropes early.

tigerton
Whitlock looked a bit sheepish hiding behind them two dancers! Trying to emulate Phil a bit too muc methinks
The Naitch
Here come the incessant 'Ingerlund, Ingerlund' chants - we're going to get that all night.
The Naitch
Taylor missing three doubles for the leg ... Whitlock keeps his throw.
Mac the Jake
Here come the incessant 'Ingerlund, Ingerlund' chants - we're going to get that all night. Thats why if Big Si could give him a game it would piss them off

dubs
£30 or so winnings from Webster on Taylor -4.5 sets (8/11). Hope it's a lot closer than that though. Good start by Whitlock, Taylor at least showing he's human there. Edited January 3, 2010 by dubs

The Naitch
Taylors started all 3 legs with a 180 It's a sign that he means business. He's just broken throw and looks favourite to take the 1st set after that 45 from Whitlock.
Mac the Jake
Ah well looks like the usual boring final
The Naitch
Taylor wins the first set 3-1. Whitlock will need to break throw in the next set to have any chance of levelling things up.
mozam76
First set Taylor, against the throw - and it's all looking very ominous. Whitlock could be done and dusted by 9pm if he can't get some big scores in. Edited January 3, 2010 by mozam76
DomDom
Whitlock has a couple of sets to get back into the match. He has the game, and should just keep plugging away. Taylor over 13 sets is vulnurable when put under pressure.

Taylor over 13 sets is vulnurable when put under pressure. Taylor is only ever 'vulnerable' over a short format. He flourishes as the matches get longer - that's not going to change tonight. Only a select few can match Taylor over a long distance. Good though he is, Whitlock isn't going to be one of them. EDIT: Whitlock, though, has just signalled his intentions with a sensational 170 checkout! Edited January 3, 2010 by The Naitch
