Marshmallo
Poor end this to a fantastic, in fact the best, tournament of darts ever. That sums it up perfectly. I'd go as far as saying this has been fucking shite. -
orlandoblue
Does anyone think if both of the players were not fat bassas ie a bit fitter , they would have been able to recover quicker and perform better tonight?

orlandoblue
Away and watch Mr Universe or something. I'm no Arnie I can assure you, I just don't get why no one even on here seems to think that their condition cannot improve them as a player. Utterly bizarre.

Utterly bizarre. You're probably right but it's all you've talked about in this thread. People have presented reasons why losing weight may not necessarily be the way to go as it could affect their throw. -
The Naitch
Aidy's on the nine darter again... EDIT: He didn't get it but that's helped him to break throw. Looking very difficult for Hamilton from here. Edited January 2, 2012 by The Naitch
dundeefc1783
1325542633[/url]' post='5855192']I'm no Arnie I can assure you, I just don't get why no one even on here seems to think that their condition cannot improve them as a player. Utterly bizarre. Agree that them being overweight can't help them playing every night like this but sure a few years back Phil Taylor lost a lot of weight and his darts suffered because the weight loss effected his balance and throw apparently.
YIBBIDAY YABBA
Do you realised what you've just typed? He's in the final and deservedly so of course he is final material. He just hasn't turned up that's the problem. Maybe I'm being harsh because I don't like the guy and I'm sick of looking at his wife's ugly puss. Some of his darts tonight have been terrible and not what you'd expect in a final. Lewis has been nowhere near his best and still looking comfortable.
The Naitch
That 118 ends it I think.

Utterly bizarre. Condition means f**k all though why can't you accept this. Paul Nicholson is fit as a fiddle and in no way is it helping his darts he will never be as good as Adie Lewis for example as he doesn't have the natural talent that Lewis does. I have no idea why Lewis would want to 'get fit' / lose weight in the coming years when he has the potential to dominate darts as it is. Barney/Taylor have been on fitness regimes in the past and it done f**k all for them and they are two of the most gifted players to ever play the game.

The point being Lewsis could (not would) be even better than he is. Nicholson has no where near the talent but I bet if he got fat he would get worse.

The Naitch
7-3 it is then. Not the final that this tournament deserved but Lewis is certainly worthy of being called the two time World Champ.
