The Naitch
It's almost like darts' version of transfer deadline day! ...and just like the football version at this time of the year nothing really happened in the last couple of hours. I think there's only 32 places up for grabs over the four days so it's going to be insanely competitive.
Neilly
Rumours going about that Waites has been offered a card so doesn't have to do Q School. A lot of players maybe would see that as moving the goalposts but personally as a winner and runner up in three years at the GSOD it's a pretty easy decision for Hearn as Waites would be a big coup for the PDC. O'Shea and the Dutchies won't move so that's basically three spare cards, one of which could be used for Waites.
Neilly
40 places now up for grabs according to the PDC site!
MTJ
Waites won't go now. Most of the others are either hasbeens or complete jobbers, O'Sheas tournament average would be lucky to get him past round the first round in the PDC. Harms and Kist are doing the European events. No idea what Dekker will do. Deano will do well in the PDC, suspect Kellett will do decent too. Edited January 18, 2012 by MTJ
F_T_Y
Andy fordham withdrew with an injury in the first round of the q school today,Looked like he was putting the pounds back on when i saw him at the lakeside. Geoff kime won 6-0 and 6-2 assuming this is the same australian guy who played king at the pdc worlds, and didnt hit a treble all game,The pdc must make a killing with no hopers putting up 200 pounds.
Neilly
Kime MUST be a better player than he showed though. Kellets started off 6-0 6-1.
MTJ
Winstanley has just lost 6-5 to some jobber called Pat Pace. Not just any jobber, a 73 year old one. Edited January 19, 2012 by MTJ
black and gold army
Chris Mason is going strong just now, along with the West Brothers. Steve West has Jerry Hendriks in the 3rd round though, can't see him winning that one.

DomDom
11 darter? Obviously this Pace guy isn't that much of a mug.
Neilly
Tony West gets his card along with Richie Howson, Darren Whittingham and Andrew Cornwall. West beat a 19 year old from Isle of Man in the final game, Keegan Brown, be interesting to see how he gets on in the next three days.
Marshmallo
Whittingham beat van der Rijck along the way so he must be a decent player. -
