Neilly
Barney's finishing has been spotless at the times when he has to take it out which must hurt van Gerwen no matter how much of a freak he is.
The Naitch
Barney is fired up big time up there - he can sense it now.
H_B
Pressure of playing Barney has really got to Van Gerwen here... So poor compared to previous rounds.
The Naitch
Fucking hell, this is tension. What a time to hit single 5.
The Naitch
He's done it! Bloody hell, that was good. I know that Barney has had a lot of criticism over the last 2/3 years, and rightly so, but it's brilliant to see him play like he has this week and become the new Grand Slam champion.
F_T_Y
Fair play,i didnt think he had it in him to win a big tournament ever again. The whole game i was waiting for barney to miss, but he held his nerve to keep mvg at arms length. Mvg was sensationall 4 170's and the best performance i have ever seen against taylor.Another great grand slam.
Neilly
Have to agree I couldn't see anyway Barney would ever win a big one again but he has proved me and many others wrong this week. From the Wayne Jones game onwards he has played like the Barney of old which we all love to see. Be interesting to see who wins the Players Champs next!
Marshmallo
If that Barney turns up then I'm absolutely delighted. Chuffed for him. -

Neilly
Top 32 from the Pro Tour Order of Merit which is basically those who have earned the most on tour over the course of the year (non televised events. Top 6 seeds are Whitlock, Chisnall, Barney, MVG,Pipe and Newton. Ando scraped in at 30 th or something like that. Kevin Painter basically got one foot in the Premier League by winning this last year so there is a lot at stake and of course you go info the worlds buzzing if you do well here. Draw is on PDC site somewhere. Naitch?

The Naitch
Chisnall hit a 111 average in his win over Taylor in today's Pro Tour final. Looks like Chizzy will be No1 seed as well as he's got a reasonable lead over Whitlock in the rankings.
The Naitch
van Gerwen beat Taylor 6-5 in today's final.
Neilly
MVG has come from 5-4 down in the final against Taylor. Checked 164 to stay stay alive and checked 124 to win it 6-5!
The Naitch
Having a quick look over the rankings it looks like Hubbard has just lost out after being in the top 32 going into this weekend. van Gerwen's win puts him above Hamilton into 7th in the overall OOM, which would put him in the opposite side of the draw from Taylor in the Worlds.
