ddfg
Saw that post, had him down as a Leinster fan still sore from their defeat over there. Either way it was an epic fail

GAD
Watched the game tonight with an Ulster fan who was absolutely sick when we won. It was delightful.
ddfg
On a more tedious note, can Macron not make a new set of playing kit with old sponsor not on it? Ending every game with black or white tape peeling off the back of the jerseys isn't the best look for a professional outfit.

Probably still advertising this now available sponsorship space before having Macron knock up a fresh batch of shirts perhaps.
come on shire
I went through all the emotions known to man watching that. Done amazingly to get a BP win in a game that could have gone either way. Digging deep in unfamiliar conditions was excellent. I can see why they had limited success in Super Rugby as they aren't very physical and poor defensively. However they will be a sound addition to our league as they are very tough to play in Bloemfontein and some of their backs make Usain Bolt look like a snail.

With it still on the back on the fans kits and on the front and covered on the players kits. The move of the sponsor to the front was done close to the start of the season so I would assume that the club would get a new set of strips later on in the season

Going to have to disagree a bit there....they were fantastically physical going forward n bounced a lot of our big guys. We had to employ serious line speed n double up on tackles n even then they made yards. As for their defence their line speed was crazily good n we had to score by frankly moments of genius n brilliance (n perhaps well earned luck). I don't see any other side getting a win there let alone a bp. Their hooker would gas most pro 14 centres. They beasted Glasgow in set piece too. Gibbens was only player that got us over gain line consistently. Genuinely think thats one of Glasgows best ever wins (not best performance cos was lot of scruffy stuff). Not sure any of Glasgow tries could be attributed to poor defence tbh.
Doonhamer doon south
Would Glasgow of stayed overnight and travel back today or would they travel back to Scotland as quickly as possible. What's best in terms of preperation for the next game?

I think most sides fly out overnight after there last game in South Africa to give themselves more time to recover?
honestly united
Very impressed by the Cheetah's, considering they are going to get their internationals back us add in players from the Currie Cup and they will be there or there abouts at the end of the season. Again Glasgow struggling in the set peice, which is a worry. Scrums are a strange one as we can shift teams about at mails with no problem and are usually dominant in the forwards so its down to technique or coaching. Line outs it throwing, so again technique. Don't know if there is any scope to get a specialist coach in or not.Great win though and 6 from 6 is s great start. Gribbens best player on the park I thought, Harley excellent when he came on, and Matawalue a game changer as always

We flew overnight last year, can't remember the exact times but both ways involved leaving about 8pm and arriving morning at the other end. Only a guess but a proper warm down and feed may be better than a rush to the airport, good thing is there will be no jet lag

And also that they've already played a full season. Said from the start they should be judged from next season, not this one.

Remember welsh fans on social media saying they'd pay his train fare when he was hired by sru. The set piece is shambolic. I'd be up for getting shade Munro back in.
dogmc
Harley has been fantastic so far. Not as obvious as someone like gibbens (basically leone n strauss combined) but does some fantastic work. Really hope toony keeps him in mind.

Does the hard work work well at ruck and maul rather than the showy stuff
dogmc
Watched the game back..still can't believe that win n those tries. Players deserve huge credit for their endurance. They were clearly gassed but still kept going. Jackson n Johnston did some great work. Almost every player made some sort of contribution. Three contenders for try of the season.
