Just feels like a total stitch up. Lacey absolutely reffed Glasgow off the pitch in last season's semi final, and with him retiring, so this pretty much being his last game, I can see him doing it again just to be a c**t.

Woeful from the Pro 14. But even if Lacey goes full Lacey and/or an Irish stitch up. The SRU wont have the balls to speak up and highlight any of it. They'll just rollover and get their tummy tickled as per usual.

Well let's hope anyway that it's a total non story and we can let our home advantage and superior team do the talking.

Pretty much the team I was expecting apart from Harley for Wilson.

Jamie Bhatti leaving is a strange one. I'm guessing he fell out with Rennie after being frozen out in the first half of the season.

Have we not signed another prop for next season, Scottish qualified? And with Edinburgh losing Dell they maybe reckon he'll play more there. I don't think it really matters these days as a prop if you start or are on the bench. It's pretty important either way.

Glasgow are losing Bhatti who will probably bench for Scotland and gaining Thornton who hasn't played much professionally. It's at least a short term down grade.

Thornton looks a bit pudgy so will probably have to do a lot of S&C before he is up to speed while Bhatti is a beast as we have seen recently.

I like Bhatti, if rather he stayed to be honest, but I can see the appeal to both him and the SRU of going to Edinburgh. It helps as well that Edinburgh are providing most of the Scotland pack these days.

Also, wether Bhatti is benching for Scotland or not will probably depend on Kebble and Dell's form and fitness after the world cup.

So Irish Ref, 2 Irish Assistants and an Irish TMO managing an Irish Team in the semi finals of a Major competition. Great strides towards neutrality by the Pro 14. Hats off..

I’m sure I mentioned this in this thread before, but I was pretty certain the Pro 14 claimed they would have only neutral refs this past season. Clearly either I made that up, or they gave up on that plan.

I thought the exact same. Maybe it was just a collective P&B delusion/hope.

Bhatti going to Edinburgh to replace Dell, who has gone to London Irish as he cant get a game in front of Shoeman, not great all round, as i've seen London Irish have signed 2 or 3 other props over the last week or so so he might not get much game time there either.

Does any have a list of Glasgow or Edinburgh signings for next year or a link for it? I know a few have been confirmed but I dont remember anyone that actually stood out.

The big question is whether Glasgow will replace Hogg with a high profile signing. It's not like there is loads of quality FBs available so i'm not expecting much. The best solution would be an academy player stepping up.

Edinburgh really need a 9.

Having looked at the list of released players, Greg Tonks appears to be at a loose end these days.....:whistle
