Detournement
A great start from Edinburgh.
Detournement
Crosbie needs to be involved with Scotland.
GAD
Edinburgh playing well, but still made some honking errors and missed a couple of sitters. Duhan had a nightmare period. Have Sarries on the ropes a bit, need to make it count.
Detournement
Itoje just ran into the back of Ritchie off the ball crashing him in Vellacot. The ref ignored it and the w****r commentators are giggling about Maro.
Salvo Montalbano
Didn't realise this was on STV. Switched on to see Edinburgh butcher a try.
Salvo Montalbano
And then do that. Line-out has been shite from what I was hearing on the radio commentary.
Jim McLean's Ghost
McInally is a complete diddy. 4 bad throws in a row putting Edinburgh on the back foot.

Rambo is miles away from playing for Scotland again. I wanted to see the ruck on the goal line after Hoyland's tackle because it looked like the Sarries player was offside when he made the tackle but surprise, surprise no replay. The counter ruck after the drop out was a joke and probably rattled Edinburgh.
GAD
It's another game Edinburgh were in a position to win, but won't, mostly due to bad decision making and errors at crucial moments. It's a Scottish rugby disease.

Out of all our hookers I think Cherry's throwing is maybe the best, but he's not great either. Brown and Turner arent much better than McInally either. Whatever happened to Dylan Richardson, he was another hooker / flanker wasnt he?
ajwffc
this might be a radical thought but our problem at hooker seams to be caused by the fact most our hookers, are converted flankers

It's being a bottle merchant rather than what position they played as a teenager.
come on shire
Strong team at Murrayfield tomorrow night. If we play well then we need to target a win with the bonus point.
come on shire
Perpignan's team. Ex-Glasgow prop Siua Halanukanuka starts. Unsure if this is a strong team or they're focused on the Top14.
honestly united
I find it mad that we are picking Jones at 12 and Tuipoltu at 13. Although both are much better outside rather than inside surely you would go with Tuiuplotu at 12 given GT only ever playes him there for Scotland? Also I take it we are expecting this to be a forward battle given we have picked 3 8's for the backrow and 6 forward subs.
flyingscot
I was looking forward to the game and disappointed it's been switched to Murrayfield. Understand the reasons and they've offered refunds which is fair.

Is that not down to the fact that Jones isn't the best defender and easier to defend the 12 channel?

Possibly, although it's probably also that the gameplan allows either of them to slot in to either role at various stages. I don't think the numbers on their backs particularly matter for that combination, unlike if it was one of them alongside Sammy J
Mark Connolly
If ever there was a case of "your man" in defence, it's Pesolo Tuilagi. 6'4 and 140kg? Fucking hell
GAD
Glasgow started pretty well, though really should be up already, butchered a huge chance on the line before giving away a honking penalty. If they can keep doing this and keep the pressure on they can win this well. Big ifs though!
