They have been looking (mostly) pretty ordinary for a couple of years, have they not? Slightly surprised Ian Foster is still the coach for this World Cup given their results/performances over the last few years, especially with Scott Robertson confirmed and waiting in the wings.
DeeTillEhDeh
A very poor AB performance - cannot see them winning this WC.

They were lucky the last time they played us (in 2022) - we had a 9pt lead and blew it. Very much a team living off their reputation rather than their actual performances.

Pretty sure they won the rugby championship again pretty comfortably just a few months ago, thrashing Australia and Argentina and putting SA away relatively easily, and they usually improve for the WC.

Only 3 matches - their match vs South Aftica was at home - always a huge advantage for them.

Was 1 and lost 1 in that series - was odd as they played both matches in South Africa. It was also even odder in that a poor Australia also beat SA and The Pumas beat the ABs. I think what is safe to say is that this AB team does not instill the same level of fear as historic AB teams.
Savage Henry
Any particular daft reason certain teams aren’t wearing names on their shirts for this World Cup? It seems such a basic thing to do. I don’t know any of the Namibia players, so watching them with the sound off in a pub makes it not ideal.

Mark Connolly
Could this be the first real shock? If Georgia get off to a good start, Eddie could be shitting himself

I imagine the scrum half's mum is currently defending him on some Georgian rugby forum, the way Grayson Hart's mum used to...
