I bought a wine aerator last week as I have been convinced by folk at work it makes a big difference. Anyone have any views on this?

Also, do you aerate white wine or just red?

No use for a goon bag.
Best way to aerate wine is uncork it, pour into glass and sip at your pleasure/leisure remembering to top up glass at regular intervals.

Got a bottle of the Casillero Del Diablo at Christmas, it was OK.

I’m a big fan of the Faustino V not so much the VII.

Personally I’d have a crack at the Bordeaux.

Please report back upon consumption!

I know heehaw about wine other than anything Argentinian I've bought, no matter how cheap (and I mean like 3 quid out of the Co-Op cheap) has always been serviceable, so I just do that.

Your opinion is as valid as anyone’s.

Wine drinking is the same as art appreciation, there’s a lot of consensus as to what is ‘good’ but the bottom line is about personal preference.

Is there a big difference between red and white , other than colour ? Don't know why I just bought red ?
