What Are You Drinking ?

Recommended Posts

Had a pint of T after round of golf. No review required. Sublime. Two bottles of Dark Island and now an Innis and Gunn original. Next move will be T again - gaffers. Hopefully local Tesco stocking the beers above. Believe Rochefort Trappists are great - albeit strong. 🍻

Another belter of a sour from Vault City. Bit lively on the pour. Last one I picked up.from the Bottle Shop in Helensburgh. Will definitely pop back in and see what their rotation is like.

That bottle shop is part of the Ellie’s Cellar chain. One in Dollar, Alva, used to have one in Linlithgow. Tend to have loads of Overtone in stock. [emoji106]

It's a different one. The Ellie's Cellar is along the road from it. It's a other excellent shop. This one is just called The Bottle Shop, only been open about 6 weeks. Limited selection, but pretty good stuff.

This one is one of the best lagers I've had in a while. Northern Monk have done an homage to old Tennents cans, but that's where the similarities end.

Beautiful can. But a citrus lager was never going to be comparable to the mighTy T 🤔

A damp cloth across that work top wouldn't go amiss. Tell your wife.

Beautiful can, but it really needs a semi nude woman to complete the retro-Tennents look.

Where'd you get that? Any good?

Aldi! It was quite nice tbh - exactly as you would expect. Hints of cherry and chocolate first, with that underlying caramel / coffee note coming through.

Nice, thanks. Will give it a bash.
