Eednud Posted Monday at 08:54 Share Posted Monday at 08:54 I used to enjoy an occasional cider but haven’t had one for over five years. I also enjoyed a cherryade from Turkey and at times a cherry Coke/Pepsi/Dr Pepper. So when I saw this I thought why not. A wrong thought. The closest this got a cherry was someone at Big Shed eating a Cherry Ripe during production.
hk blues Posted Monday at 09:09 Share Posted Monday at 09:09 Had a couple of these last night - a little bit "hoppy' for my liking compared to my usual stronger lager.

MONKMAN Posted Tuesday at 19:50 Share Posted Tuesday at 19:50 Malones, Ship Row, Aberdeen. Had a ticket for Scotland game but unfortunately up in Aberdeen all week so watching in the pub instead. Drinking glorious pints of Tennents lager, priced at the sum of £4.90. Sitting in a pub on my own, drinking Tennents, is one of the great pleasures in life.

Twisted Hippo do a plum saison/farmhouse that's f**king tremendous.
Eednud Posted yesterday at 02:46 Share Posted yesterday at 02:46 Archer Lager in The Archer on Archer Street, North Adelaide. It’s Coopers Lager in disguise but at $8/pint there’s no complaints. There was talk about Aussie beer prices a while back so here’s The Archer’s prices. P in SA is 425ml. Prices would be slightly cheaper further out from the the city/city fringe.
Eednud Posted yesterday at 08:55 Share Posted yesterday at 08:55 Yagi Pale Ale from Mountain Goat, one of Australia’s oldest craft brewers now owned by CUB (Asahi). This is a beer supposed to be ideal with ramen but it’s got too much of a fruity taste. A Mountain Goat beer was probably the first Australian draught craft beer I ever had. Forget the pub but it was in Melbourne in 1999 or 2000.

Yes it is although it’s called a pint everywhere else in Oz. What we call a pint is a schooner everywhere else. It’s possibly from WW1 or The Despression as an early version of of shrinkflation. https://stoneandwood.com.au/blogs/all/our-guide-to-australias-beer-sizes-and-names?srsltid=AfmBOopWbO4qhaYjPId8vI84UjTFDQmlcBpZjcrWKach1pxXz3iSc0dF
