I could be miles off, but Mandy is from way back when and was also left unattended in Jack's bedroom a few weeks back when she was planting her ring (fnarr). She's exactly the money grabbing type to think she can make some cash out of a discovery like that, either by using it herself or selling it to Ian Beale.
