Snooker

Ronnie all over the place in his interview. Saying how rubbish he is, after he makes the final.

Always the same, humps the world champion out the arena then complains about how poorly he played. Pure disrespect. I hope Hawkins - who is a likeable player - plays a blinder and put him and his moronic following in their place tomorrow. He's a great player and no one will give him a chance here but he's in with a small shout.

Told you...

Glad to see Ronnie showing once again that he is the only show in town when it comes to snooker. Nearly a year out of the game and he waltzes in and utterly dominates the Masters. It's actually almost pathetic how much more talented he is than everyone else on the circuit at the moment.

The man is alongside Hendry as the greatest of all time.

But then he lost to Bingham in the World Championship. He's an exceptional talent, arguably the best ever, but he's not streets ahead of the field in the same way Davis and Hendry were at their prime.

Sometimes a weaker player comes through one half of the draw to make for a boring, one-sided final and that's what happened. Any of Selby, Robertson or Trump would've given him a better game.

That's a fair point.

I'm not really one for buying into the Ronnie 'genius' hyperbole that gets labeled at him all the time but, truthfully, he really is a cut above everyone else in terms of pure talent.

Like you say, maybe the disparity between Hendry/Davis and their contemporaries in comparison to Ronnie might be greater but right now the talent field is much, much stronger than it ever has been; and Ronnie is clearly the best by a decent margin.

I think Robertson has the best all round game right now. Then there's Selby at number 1 who has had the beating of O'Sullivan a few times over the years. O'Sullivan in full flow just intimidates people. How often do you see him win by huge margins and the other just hasn't showed up?
