  1. I really liked Varian. Never seen a striker win more headers for us, ever. Shame there was no c**t within 25 yards of him whenever he did.
  2. I mean, it’s categorically a red card. The first video that surfaced on twitter seemed to show playacting from the Morton boy, but once they had the clearer footage published it’s clear as day to see he smashes him in the puss on purpose. What the f**k were Dundee Utd thinking?
  3. Hard to argue with that one. When he first broke through I really, really thought Arnott was going to be a mainstay of the side in years to come but for whatever reason it’s just not materialised. Murray has spoken a few times about being fair to players and if they don’t look like they’re going to get in the side then it’s only right that we let them go and play elsewhere. Wish him all the best at East Kilbride.
  4. Fucking tremendous. Gutted I didn’t get to be there in person to see it, but that really feels good. A phenomenal start to the season, couldn’t ask for any more.
  5. The widespread confidence of our fans and widespread pessimism of the ICT fans is deeply unsettling. Could be one for the ages. We should win if we play well but I can’t help myself in thinking we’ll see a 1-2 95th minute dodgy penalty winner.
  6. Two ways to look at this. Ethan Ross has asked for more game time and we’ve said we can’t guarantee it due to the level of quality we have in the squad in that area. Alternatively, the Rovers are keen to unload a good wage and give us money to strengthen elsewhere. Or a combination of both. Not buying that this is some terrible decision. He’s barely had a good game for about 18 months. Genuinely the last good game I can remember him having was away to Falkirk in the cup on 27th November 2021.
  7. Strong Vaughan to Dumbarton vibes with this loan.
  8. What nonsense are you havering on about, here? We’ve sold over 2000 season tickets, record sales on both our home and away strips and increased our average home gate by a third based on the same games last season.
  9. I’ve really no issue with the flag, tbh. Bring it along if you want. You cannae be getting photos of it with UDA flags and expect folk not to say anything, tho.
  10. Brown? Scott Brown who played 90 minutes on Saturday?
  11. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player give away his shirt other than at the end of the final game of the season, so I reckon it’s fair to assume they are under instruction not to do so.
  12. The “pitch invasion” isn’t really a pitch invasion in that sense. The kids are no older than 10, and they seem to be running onto the pitch to ask for players’ shirts, rather than celebrating a win. It’ll be off the back of that fucking nonsense in the EPL of parents making home made signs saying, “Grealish, can I have your shirt?”. I like their backing (even if it is a bit piercing) and their enthusiasm for the club, but wish they’d stop running on the park.
  13. The Union Jack in the club colours has more links to casual culture than unionism. There a lot of other examples in Scottish football. That argument kinda falls flat on its arse when you get photos of it with UDA flags, though.
  14. Folk are free to bring whatever they want to the games. Not my cup of tea but they must like it. Getting your photo taken with the flag alongside the flag of a banned terrorist organisation maybe no the smartest idea, right enough. Looking forward to the 2024 Boko Haram link up.
  15. A lot of clubs do have them now, including Hibs. It’s seen as more of a casual culture thing, apparently. That, of course, is clearly not why these folk have it given they’ve just had their photo taken with the UDA.
  16. Surely to suffering f**k we beat this shower next week?
  17. More than I’ve seen other championship clubs bring recently.
  18. Yeah, rubbish. I do wonder the effectiveness of playing Vaughan and Easton in the same 3 behind the striker. We need Smith or Ethan Ross to play wide to offer a bit more directness.
