  1. Barr, Vaughan, Buchanan and Spence in League 1. Really can't argue with that whatsoever. All hail king Barry.
  2. Thank f**k i'll be out the country for the "challenge match" against the Pars. Who thought that was a good idea!?
  3. Hardie signing is pipe dream stuff, he'd walk in to any lower half Championship side and probably a few a bit higher up than that. If we'd stayed up then we'd have probably been in with a shout.
  4. I'm fairly sure that was a made up story from a QoS fan on here.
  5. We were still paying him until the end of the season...
  6. Retained Kevin Cuthbert, Kyle Benedictus, Bobby Barr, Ross Callachan, Ross Matthews, Iain Davidson, Lewis Vaughan, David McKay (new contract signed) and Scott Robertson & Jonny Court (new contracts agreed in principle). Apprentice professionals also retained: James Berry, Ryan Stevenson, Jamie Watson, Kyle Bell & Fionn McLeod Kay. Also Rory Brian (Amateur) Released Conor Brennan, Joel Coustrain, Chris Johnston, Jean-Yves M’Voto, Kevin McHattie, Scott Roberts, Rudi Skacel, Mark Stewart, and David Syme The only one I'm a wee bit disappointed with is Davidson staying, but I'm hoping that a division down the game won't pass him by as much and more importantly he won't be in the team every week because we'll have Robertson, Callachan and Matthews. The only real noteworthy name leaving is Stewart, obviously doesn't fancy staying. Good luck to him, a decent servant over the last few years.
  7. Will this thread just end up in the league 1 forum then? I had a peak in that forum recently - fucking dreadful. Miss you already
  8. As much as we were fucking terrible last season, if the likes of Callachan, Benedictus, Cuthbert, Matthews, Bobby and Craig Barr and Vaughan have good seasons they'll be far too good for League 1.
  9. Johnson's special move was to look like he was about to do something at all times without actually ever doing anything. He was absolutely brilliant at getting the ball then suddenly not having it anymore even though no one had tackled him. Has the upper body strength of a wet leaf.
  10. Scott Robertson certainly seems to fit the bill as the assistant given his involvement with the development squad last year, the apparent close links between first 11 and under 20s along with Smith saying he might go down the route of a player/assistant. I know Robertson is really well thought of in a coaching capacity at Starks Park so I wouldn't rule it out.
  11. This is the time to get behind the club. Get those season tickets bought!
  12. Let's get Vaughan, Callachan, Matthews and Court signed and sealed and build the team around them.
  13. They're not doing a market on it because the chairman has said there's already a shortlist. Someone asked on twitter the other day.
