This is what it’s all about, for me. Days like today are why you go. I’ve watched us lose comfortably at Forfar, Stranraer, Stirling Albion, Peterhead, Dumbarton, Stenhousemuir… the list goes on. Once every decade or so you get a season that makes it all worthwhile, and this season is exactly that.
Cannot fucking wait to get up to Tannadice today and get behind the boys. A defeat is not a disaster by any stretch of the imagination, but lord knows what a win would do, not just to the points tally, but more so to the already steely mentality of this squad.

Is Raith TV still done by students or is done FT by a volunteer/worker now? Absolutely love Raith TV footage. Probably the best highlights out there and seem to arrive super quick. I've definitely watched more Raith highlights than any other side.
Finding myself rooting for you guys this season as a result (does help you have that big sexy b*****d in goal for you as well). So much so I thought the Arbroath game finished 1-1 the other night until I put the highlights on and actually celebrated your winner
One of us, one of us…

The Vaughan interview actually makes it clear that it was Vaughan himself who went to the manager and asked to go out on loan to play, not us who told him he was going.

Gullan just does not occupy the defenders anywhere near to the extent that Hamilton does. Hamilton never gives the centre halves a minute, Gullan and Smith haven’t bothered Arbroath at all. Not sure where the goal is going to come from.

How the f**k has that not gone in the net? Incredible miss.

What the f**k is Liam Dick doing there? Blatant penalty. Absolute tit.

Great technique on the finish from Connolly. So happy he’s back fit and playing regularly again.

For those with a fire stick, try the Ayr United channel.

It’s been a squad effort near enough every week so far and I don’t see tonight being any different. The starting XI isn’t irrelevant, but it has far less of a bearing on the FT result than last season. We can change it up in any number of ways should the result not be going our way. Fancy us to win by a couple.

Going to be a lot of chat about pitches coming up so just to clarify for everyone before it gets out of hand - there is only 3G, and varying generations of 3G.
4G, 5G, 6G is not used in sport.

First penalty claim is a stone waller, imo. O’Reilly gets his head on the ball and the Inverness boy just bulldozes him over. Crazy decision from the ref who is right there on the spot to see it. The one where it looks as though the net ripples I think is the right decision. The net moves because the goalie’s foot hits the net. Can see why the Raith TV guys thought it was over at the time. I think we had a few decent chances and obviously a lot of the ball before we went behind without really looking too dangerous. The chance where Vaughan tied the full back up in knots before cutting it back to Stanton is probably the pick of the chances.
Inverness goal comes from Dylan Corr just getting caught under the flight of the ball and us not having a proper right back. Mullin doesn’t tuck in behind him and the boy just gets between the two of them. Vaughan’s goal is just Lewis Vaughan being Lewis Vaughan. As the ball is about to be played to him and he’s in space, he glances to his left and knows the Inverness player who’s going to be coming to try challenge him is coming from that side. Shapes to shoot, dummies it and lets the defender ghost past him then slams it home with his left. Super level of awareness to create and fashion the space for a shot then the ability to execute the finish. He could easily bang in 25 goals this year whilst not even playing as a striker. We are so lucky to have him. What really stood out to me about the equaliser is that Sam Stanton is in the net getting the ball and going back to the centre circle. Vaughan celebrates but the players are all just wanting to get back and get underway again because they fucking know there’s a good chance we’re going to get another.
The penalty for the winner is a definite penalty and it’s something we see from Stanton every week. He’s got that ability to just get his toe to the ball a split second before his opponent. Gullan slams it home with what is a terrific penalty. How much longer can we can this up? A good while yet, I’ll bet.

Raith fans describing a team sitting 2nd in the Championship pre-xmas having won f**k all as 'incredible' shows how success starved they are.
Make no mistakes had Dodds not been so abject to allow Raith to end their hoodoo last time out, confidence would have collapsed when we went ahead as history has shown over the last 23 years. Raiths win is as much down to Billy Dodds as their own team.
Just you get your tea and shut your puss, neebur.

Raith TV seem adamant that we should have had a penalty and then that we had the ball over the line but goal wasn’t given.
