That penalty save was unreal. And that just sums it all up for us.
Tbf, why is the goalie even intimating anything after it? Yous are wining 3-0. Show a bit of humility ffs.
Winning 3-0 away to your derby rivals and your man is after humility. You’d all have been doing the same. Get it round you.

Anyone able to get the game on the fire stick? Can’t see it only showing the Falkirk game
Yeah, can’t get the Rovers game anywhere. Usual channel is just showing BBC Alba.

Great to see The Special One working his magic at Starks. Unbelievably, some of our support thought the miracles he performed with us were all down to Jack Ross. Then there were some others who thought he sullied his legacy by daring to leave for full-time football. As far as I'm concerned, he could've driven off into the sunset in a Clydebank strip and I'd still want a statue of him outside the rock.
I'm going to very cheekily leave this here, which I totally appreciate is a bit of a stretch, given I'm not even sure he reached 10 games for Raith. Greig Young had a horror injury last month and is going to need surgery. Since our owners don't put a penny into the club, it's fallen on Sons fans' generosity (as usual), when normal folk are getting absolutely shafted by the cost of living crisis.
I fully understand why this is required, but your owners should be fucking ashamed of themselves that this is happening.

I thought the big difference between us and Queens Park was the lack of leaders on the park for QP. We’ve so many players who you can rely on when the chips are down. QP didn’t have any.

Liam Dick may have his drawbacks but he’s playing for a side damn near the summit of the Championship and Kieran MacDonald has just been released by Edinburgh City. I know who I’d rather have.

Ross Millen our worst player. What do folk watch every Saturday? Can always tell when we’re doing well because this thread becomes eerily quiet in the absence of the usual moaning suspects.

Am I right saying QP haven't won a league game since the middle of August?.... Yet are only a couple points off the promotion playoff spot.
Yep. Last beat Arbroath on August 19th and are currently 1 point off 4th. Stupid league.

Although the error has been attributed to commentators David Coleman or Frank Bough, it was Leitch who, when the Scottish football team Raith Rovers won a match, said "They'll be dancing in the streets of Raith tonight". This was seen as a display of ignorance since Raith Rovers play in the town of Kirkcaldy.
Thanks mate.

How old are you? Have you never heard "they will be dancing in the streets of Raith"
Never heard of it.

Find myself finding Airdrie really quite likeable. What’s happening to me?

Turns out Telfer and particularly Frizzell got a lot of joy running off Todorov and the seven behind them dominated the ball for large spells in the first half. Fair play!
A draw was probably about right overall but if any team deserves to win that it was Airdrie. Airdrie were excellent in the first half, maybe the best we’ve played all season. Still plenty of daft moment but a lot more intent going forward and we were very unfortunate not to open the scoring. Raith probably had the better of the second half but both teams had chances to win it.
I thought Raith’s front four (plus Easton) were really poor. Connolly had one good shot, Vaughan didn’t do too much and Mullin’s only contribution of note was that bizarre swipe towards his own goal. I said it after the last game but Easton is wasted out wide, though Stanton did well and is probably a better player in there overall. Airdrie’s defence did very well though, hard to fault any of them really. McCabe in particular strolled it when he went back there and Megwa was excellent defensively once again.
To be fair to the front 4, they’ve played a ridiculous amount of football lately. We’ve pretty much one forward sub each week so they’ve all played more than they really should have. Smith, Vaughan and Mullin run themselves into the ground on Tuesday night and Connolly is just back from a huge spell on the sidelines stretching back into last season. They’ve done incredibly well in the circumstances.

Has Broadfoot gestured to the home fans or something? Being booed for being brutally pish seems OTT.

Iain Wilson was hooked the other night despite being Morton’s best player. Hooked again tonight. Nae wonder he’s pissed off.

I’ve talked at length about the importance of a Aidan Connolly across various platforms so I’ll spare you all it again, but him getting fit again is like a new signing given how long he’s been out. Beyond delighted to see him back in the team and winning us games. Long May it continue.

Grant Gillespie managed the single worst substitute appearance I've ever seen in my life. Other than that, I've got nothing to say. Both teams are brutal. One is somehow 2nd in the league and we are deservedly bottom of the table.
Away and chase yersel

A huge performance from every one of them. Stood up to the 60 yards kicks to an abysmal Oakley and Muirhead. Can’t imagine watching that every week.
