Was at that fog game, and continued the journey to Inverness when the game got put off - which was a great idea until about Perth on the way home when we ran out of booze and still had two hours to go til I got back to Edinburgh. Rarely had a sore head like it. We also stopped off in Inverness for a few hours after the Wick game on the Sunday, also resulting in an incredibly sore head coming down the road on the train. In short, f**k Inverness.

Keatings surely won’t play, which is an enormous plus for us as he is a guaranteed goal - he has scored over 20% of his career goals v us. If we are to ever win in Inverness, it’ll be Friday. Still can’t see it though, 1-0 Inverness.

Think both teams could’ve played for another 90 minutes without a whiff of a goal there. Ayr are on the list of teams I’d like an extended break from playing, constant insipid battles.

Second half has been devoid of almost anything. A few half chances but too many players with an off night. Terrible final ball. Would be happy not to play Ayr again for quite some time tbh.

When was the last time we had a half decent game v Ayr? Struggling to think of one.

Ayr are pretty well organised defensively and we are struggling to get any penetration. Ugwu definitely better than Duku, but I don’t see us scoring unfortunately.

Having watched us on a couple of complete bogs already this year, give me the Astro any day.
