  1. I think hearts boardroom behaviour during the last 3 months is far more embarrassing, than (most of) the posts on this thread..
  2. I really think the lower tier clubs are missing out by not pushing for 12-12-10-10. Would correct all disputed relegations & promotions etc.... except hearts, which would be pleasing... The 12 could also a split which despite critics works in premiership Would have most of the strongest and best supported teams outside the premiership involved...
  3. Lachlan has came out of this well in my opinion, Good to see he is investing in infrastructure at ayr too... However, you are both wasting energy if you think that the top league will ever be a playing 2x a year league. Unfortunately TV rules and 4x celtic/sevco games is required...
  4. Partick are getting what they deserve for jumping in to bed with budge. They also were involved in the ict led void the league club so they do not have a record of picking the right side in this.... a 12-12-10-10 proposal would get through The spfl clubs and would allow all aggrieved clubs except hearts be happy.
  5. I’m not a lawyer, but i would quite happily be paid 10k a day to confirm hearts relegation
  6. Absolute nonsense but then we expect nothing less of you
  7. The 14-10-10-10 would have imposed revenue losses of approx 300-500k each season for most bottom 6 teams. - less share of tv money and spfl prize pot, fewer games against top 6, reduced hospitality Lower attendances after the split and less sponsorship etc So an ongoing loss of 1.5m to 3m each year lost to Scottish football. All to save hearts for possibly one season after you won 4 games... So keeping leagues as they are is the “situation that would cause the least financial damage to Scottish football”
  8. The Scottish government were testing a few thousand people a day at the height of the pandemic, remember those days? How do you think it would have looked if football had been allowed to continue with players getting tested maybe twice a week prioritised over, say NHS and key workers? You really are a moron if you think this was ever likely to happen, just to allow hearts to win more a few extra games. Which, based on the form before lockdown is very unlikely....
  9. You should be calling SPFL Monday morning, for a 12-12-10-10 setup!
  10. Budge led reconstruction group at start. She wanted temporary change for 1 year to save hearts. She obviously cares not a jot about lower clubs as she previously stated too many clubs in Scotland she then flip flopped to permanent when temp change failed. 12-12-10-10 would have been best solution from start
  11. Make it 12-12-10-8 then! Thistle went down wrong route backing budge, she is toxic
  12. If a second vote was to take place to end season. I am.sure that all clubs, apart from hearts, would vote to end season and relegate hearts
  13. All other clubs, apart from hearts, would have no problem with 12-12-10-10 Budge was only interested in hearts staying in premiership. She has no interest in any other club. Only hearts as they now say.........
  14. The difference would be at the bottom in league 2. Premiership same. Championship bottom 2 would lose a few thousand, rest same However, championship finances would be improved due to Partick, and Falkirk joining. In my honest opinion the current championship 10 plus Partick Thistle and Falkirk would be a fabulous league
  15. Only Hearts think they are due compensation. They have been shit for 18 months and deserve nothing but relegation
  16. You not think that hearts would quite happily do that if they got to stay in premiership ?? The 14-10-10-10 would never have passed as most teams in bottom 6 would lose 300-500k per season due to less tv money, lower crowds, less hospitality etc 12-12-10-10 would solve 80% of relegation/promotion complaints
  17. Partick Thistle seem to have picked the wrong side from the start of covid19. ... You jumped into bed with the Scot Gardiner led WhatsApp Sevco/ICT/Dundee pact to void the leagues and stop celtic getting 9 in a row, keep Dundee Utd down, while using league placings for money.. You then joined angry Budge who has pissed all in Scottish football with threats, bribery and tears about the injustice of hearts being relegated after being pish for 18 months. Too big for SPFL championship etc why did you not propose a 12-12-10-10 setup that would every club (except hearts ) would have agreed to?? i have real sympathy with you getting relegated, but you have to ask questions of your board and the company they keep
  18. You posted often when you won the petrofac cup? I don’t remember too many other things going that well, for the rangers since their first cup win
  19. Not one “contributor” on the show over the last three months has mentioned the financial impact of a forced & now permanent 14 team premiership (just to save hearts ). Depends on simple maths each club in the bottom 8 of this 14 team top league will lose at least 300k to 500k every year going forward. Less prize money less games against top 6 sides more meaningless games less hospitality less sponsorship Then lets talk about a global pandemic that could cause millions of job losses ...no lets get Neil McCann on to say its no fair...
  20. The 2 minute montage of hearts commentaries, just reminded me how shit hearts were last season..
  21. Not without penalty. Knowing them they will stick 100% to contract
  22. Do you have similar costs of not startling 2020/21 league in August for the new Sky Sports contract? I am sure the SPFL board would be fully aware of these costs...
  23. I would love a journalist (such as mr Tom English), to give an explanation of why the disgrace of Brora and Kelty not to be “promoted”, is more worthy of discussion, than clubs in the lower half of the premiership suffering financially through a forced 14 team permanent premiership just to save hearts... Sorry, I dont pay much attention to lower leagues, but i assume both Brora and Kelty would play off against each another for the pleasure of playing bottom team in league 2. (Brechin as called due to covid). So sticking to simple statistics. Brora and Kelty have a 50% chance of winning this play off. The victors would then play bottom team and have a 50% chance of winning. So Brora and Kelty would have had a 25% chance of promotion. Not the sure thing being discussed It was shown that the lower half of the premiership may lose at least 300-500k each season due to 14 team league with split after 26 games, less games against bigger teams and probable lack of walk ups due to meaningless games .... But let’s talk about Brora and Kelty...
