  1. Who the f**k uses AOL mobile mail? It's not 2001.
  2. Evidently this Indian team have noised me up to the extent that I'm happy to see the fkn Aussies hosing them.
  3. Off to New York on holiday on Monday and someone in my team at work has come in today playing the martyr absolutely choked with the cold. I’m going to try and get them sent home as I’ll be fizzing if I pick it up.
  4. Cheers, had an issue in New Zealand a couple of years ago where they wouldn't accept my mate's UK driving license tho it was at an event where it did specify to the bar staff that only domestic driving licences were valid ID (I don't think we were asked for ID anywhere else in the country), so was wondering if similar applied in the USA. Last time I was over I just took my passport everywhere which could have been a bit risky if I'd got steaming and lost it.
  5. Going next week, excited etc. Quick question re: ID in bars / restaurants do they accept overseas driving licences or am I going to have to carry my passport about all the time? Suspect it’s the latter but just thought I’d check. Long since past being IDd in Scotland but I know how severe they are over there.
  6. Yeah, you definitely can travel back to previous areas, there are very few things that are missable in the early stages of the game, and when you get close to the end of the main story (and I think again in the main story in B&W) a pop-up message tells you that you're approaching a significant fork in the story which will close off a lot of things so if you want to do them make a separate save point before you continue.
  7. I only heard third hand but I believe it's a recurring injury with a crack in his kneecap which isn't healing, which would mean that he's unlikely to play for anyone, never mind us, again if true.
  8. Hope Steven Boyd gets back from injury for us tomor... no, wait.
  9. I think this season and last they've tried a few different things, like the Peep Show style from Frank's POV episode in the last season and the Making a Murderer style mockumentary in this one which have been mixed at best. Of course, the fallback is them all shouting abuse at each other for 20 minutes which yesterday's episode does pretty well. Don't know whether it's just that I've got it off a torrent but don't think I've ever heard c-words and n-words unbleeped on IASIP until the most recent episode
  10. Folk saying it'll free Cook up a bit but without the protection of the captaincy and at 32 he's only really one bad run of form away from being binned for good with the emergence of Hameed, Jennings, and to a lesser extent Duckett over the last few months.
  11. Was at the show earlier, thought it was more consistent than the first but only a 6/10 all the way through rather than the first which was probably a 3/10 first half and an 8/10 second half. The punchline at the end in terms of plot was so obvious I wondered if it was a double bluff. Paying the extra for the lounge at the Hydro is well worth it tbh tho.
  12. Looked at the score when it was 86-2, thought England were marginally up at that point. Next time I looked game was over. Think England will be glad to get on the plane tbh.
  13. Missed the 2 development squad loans in McMullin / Docherty but they were unlikely to be near the 1st team except in extreme injury crisis. Archie said in one of his interviews regarding Gordon going that Elliott is a "converted right back". Booth and Muzzy will clearly be first picks at FB / WB when fit but handy to have Elliott to cover both sides.
  14. This season: Connor Sammon- 1 goal in 19 league games, check the Hearts thread on here, they're delighted to bin him. Billy McKay- 0 goals in 27 league games. Was mince in a relegated United team last year, and half his goals were penalties. They could go back to their old clubs and spark something but no guarantees.
  15. Wonder if signing another winger instead of a striker means we're edging away from using the 352, as it already renders Lawless and Amoo pretty defunct without throwing another winger in on top of that. If you say we've replaced Gordon with Dumbuya, McDaid with Banton, have got Nisbet back as 3rd striker and swapped 3rd choice goalies whilst letting a few young guys go out on loan then it's a solid enough window in that we're not weaker.
  16. He did the HT draw at the Formartine game but didn't do an interview, the PA guy said hopefully back in a couple of months or something similarly vague. Guessing that given he's effectively been out for 10 months -I'm aware he played 1 dev squad game- and his injury from what I heard (third hand admittedly) is a re-occurring one with his kneecap I think we might have seen the last of him at Firhill, though I suppose he might get a similar deal to Welsh at the start of last season to prove his fitness.
  17. Would have been nice to get one more in, guess it just means we go straight to the untested weans if we get a spate of injuries / suspensions rather than the never were’s like McDaid or Wilson.
  18. Not a surprise about McDaid, don't think he set the heather on fire at Cowden last year either but he's obviously still young so plenty of time for him to make a fist of it. I know most of these guys would have been on peanuts / not near the first team but in terms of outfield players that’s Penrice, Syme, McMullin, Wilson, Docherty, Gordon, and McDaid all away in January with only Keown coming in. Streamlined.
  19. Hamilton signing a defender to replace Ziggy Gordon, who left them last week according to the BBC.
  20. Aye, you're right, totally forgot he played there, so he'll be with us.
  21. Archibald's post-game jagzone interview said we have offers in for 2 players, and it's up to the parent clubs which obviously suggests loan, then he seemed to remember a 3rd and say we might end up with 2, so that's really straightforward. Think we could do with another forward to let us play 3-5-2 without shoehorning Erskine or Amoo up front when Doolan / Azeez tire, presume if Erwin is a target then Archie is thinking along same lines. If we get one it probably leaves Nisbet out in Siberia for the rest of the season unless we can punt him on loan to league 1 after a bit of a flop in the Championship.
  22. I've got my head round how this works on about 7 separate occasions since it was announced, and then forgotten each time.
