Managed to win my first game in both leagues thanks to Antonio Brown but seem to remember I won my first game on here last year then plummeted so not getting ahead of myself. Dunno how people with loads of teams manage, I have this one, a mates league offline, plus this year I've started playing DFS so I had 2 draftkings lineups. Also, with Barton signing for 3 years that means that if next season started tomorrow, everyone is fit, and we haven’t been relegated and released half the squad, we could field the following team Cerny Dumbuya Barton Devine Booth Osman Bannigan Azeez Erskine Lawless Doolan With Scully and Nisbet as subs. That level of continuity is unknown in my time supporting Thistle.

This is the most balls deep I think Thistle have gone in many a year on a signing, 3 year deal and a transfer fee. It'll be interesting to see where we intend to play him, my first thought was at the back as it's clearly where we're weakest and surely Osman is enough as an out an out blocker in midfield, but good that he can also cover there when Abdul inevitably gets suspended or less inevitably injured. Would hope we're still looking for one more in the free agent pool but the English loan market is now closed off.

The only other candidate would be Wilson I’d have thought, the management team must see something in him to keep giving him an extra year after 2 appearances but if he’s not going to play when Bannigan, Fraser, and Welsh are all out, then when is he going to play- maybe a loan deal somewhere rather than a permanent. Pogba would be more obvious for a straight out the door but with Nisbet on loan it would only leave us with 2 strikers when we look as if we might play 2 up front on the odd occasion now.

Firhill having a 70,000 capacity is insane. Think the biggest I've been in is when we played one of the arse cheeks in the early 90s when we had 3 sides terracing and that was 18,000. If you applied less rigorous H&S I reckon you could have got double in, but 4 times that? Mental.

Can do Thursday but not Sunday, guess you could open it up to a vote and go with the most popular as given the amount of folk you're unlikely to get everyone. If someone can't make it do they just land with auto draft, and if so can you set your own rankings in advance?

Bit disappointed all the archive match reports and fixtures have been removed- as far as I can see you can only get last season's games, was always handy to dig up in preference to soccerbase. I'll let others test jagzone out for now but I'll inevitably give in if the highlights are decent. indeed, sod celebrating any celtic goal tbh. tho the £100k (I think) if they don't utterly f**k the second leg might mean we can sign 2 players instead of 1 before the end of the window. I know other Prem teams get that money as well but I trust Archie to spend it more than most unless it's on a CF.
