  1. Great news obviously on osman. Season tickets represent good value as well compared to patg. I missed 4 home games and still made a saving. Tend to flit between the jh and North so moving for the bigot brothers isn't such an issue for me, but I can understand why we do it.
  2. To go through it fully 2015-16 : Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee, Dundee Utd, Falkirk, Hamilton, Hearts, ICT, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Ross County, St Johnstone, St Mirren 2014-15: Morton 2013-14: Ayr, Cowdenbeath, Hibs 2012-13: Airdrie, Clyde, Dumbarton, Dunfermline, Forfar, Livingston, QoS, Queen's Park, Raith 2011-12: Berwick, Stenhousemuir 2010-11: Annan, Stirling 2008-09: Peterhead, Rangers 2006-07: Albion Rovers 2005-06: Alloa, Brechin, Stranraer 2001-02: Arbroath, East Fife 1999-00: East Stirling 1991-92: Montrose Never: Elgin
  3. In the 2nd tier- Freiburg confirmed as champions, Red Bull promoted to the Bundesliga (boooooo), Nuremberg in the promotion playoff, and barring a large GD swing bringing Dusseldorf into it, the 2 relegated clubs and the playoff team will be Duisburg, FSV Frankfurt, and Paderborn.
  4. Gallacher will almost certainly stay as GK coach/ 3rd choice keeper as he has been this season- you're more than welcome to Scully. McMillan unsurprisingly had his contract terminated, think his ban is up in December.
  5. Under Contract- ages at 1 August next season GK Tomas Cerny (31), 2018 DF Mustapha Dumbuya (28), 2018 DF Callum Booth (25), 2018 DF Liam Lindsay (20), 2017 MF Chris Erskine (29), 2019 MF Sean Welsh (26), 2017 MF Gary Fraser (22), 2017 MF Ryan Edwards (22), 2017 MF Christie Elliott (25), 2017 MF Declan McDaid (20), 2017 FW Kris Doolan (29), 2019 FW Kevin Nisbet (19), 2018 FW Mathias Pogba (25), 2017 Out of Contract GK Ryan Scully (23) GK Paul Gallacher (36) DF Frederic Frans (27) DF Dan Seaborne (29) DF Gary Miller (29) MF Stuart Bannigan (23) MF Steven Lawless (25) MF Abdul Osman (29) MF David Amoo (25) MF David Wilson (21) FW Chris Duggan (46) hopefully a few sign (or bugger off) this week now we know we're safe.
  6. Aye, today's been great but highlights outside Ayrshire have been few and far between, and another massively disappointing season in the cups. We'd all have taken 10th minimum at the end of September so credit where it's due to the management team for that, but with the Orcs coming up there's one less safe place available next year. On the plus side, I'm more confident with the debt being cleared we can compete with the teams around us for players and the management team have shown they can unearth gems like Osman and Dumbuya- we really need more going forward as Dools can't do it all on his own, and I do wonder where we'd have finished if we had Lyle Taylor instead of Pogba for this season as the alternative to him.
  7. Cerny for me too though I refuse to vote until we're safe. Bit harsh on Doolan who has scored about 1/3 of our league goals. Suppose if we do go down this is a bit of a backing as is having the likes of doolan, cerny and dumbuya signed up, guess that's what the weirs have brought to the table.
  8. I thought Stepanek was ancient when Murray beat him at Wimbledon over a decade ago.
  9. tight stuff at the bottom of the 2nd division with 5 teams separated by 3 points. Duisburg won the derby vs Dusseldorf to get off the bottom of the table for the first time since August(!) and were replaced by Paderborn who are on for back to back relegations . FSV Frankfurt have lost their last 5 and are in the playoff spot. Next week sees 4 of the 5 play each other with 1860 vs Paderborn and Dusseldorf vs FSV, Duisburg go to Sandhausen The final week has another HTH with FSV vs 1860.
  10. Isn't part of the issue with Muirhead that he wants to play as a striker but apart from a few games at Killie has never played there? I thought he was pretty underwhelming apart from 45 minutes at Kilmarnock, wouldn't be rushing to sign him.
  11. How much did he get for her at the market?
  12. Would have been a lot more sensible to have 70 winners with the option to bring a + 1. Same boat as in one of the 7 guys I go with has won but can't be arsed going on his own.
  13. Said before I think our defence, particularly our centre backs, are better than the sum of their parts- I don't think any of them are great as individuals but they seem to work well enough as a unit 90% of the time, with the odd horrorshow thrown in. If we can get to the situation where there's 3 senior centre backs competing for 2 places with one of the development squad ready to step up in case of injuries- clearly there isn't at the moment hence Miller being used as 4th choice- then that's probably better than having 4 senior ones in terms of squad balance. Was being slightly flippant earlier about Frans but I'd guess that the guys Archie sees as must keep would already have been offered deals around the same time as Doolan, Cerny etc so maybe he is on the way out- if it came down to him or Lee Kilday tho...
  14. He signed for 2 years originally in 2012 then 2 x 1 year extensions.
  15. Can't wait for him to tweet a screenshot of his successful bets on the game today.
  16. Not against us taking guys from the lower leagues at all but someone who is 29 next month and has played most of his career in the third tier (edit - and none in the top tier) would be a *strange* signing. Unless it's to do with this bio banding and he's a very late developer...
  17. James Foster was another one that was a decent keeper but a #9 absolute best with the bat. The entire English 1990s seemed to be a debate between picking Jack Russell as a fantastic keeper who could bat a bit and Alec Stewart as a batsman who was also a decent keeper, but I agree the days of a pure keeper died with Gilchrist's emergence. Been watching a wee bit of the IPL, I can't properly get into it due to the shit like timeouts / ad breaks(as if cricket doesn't have enough downtime anyway, and that's speaking as a big cricket fan) and the "Yes bank maximums" rather than sixes. Still think the English version will need to adapt somehow to try and catch up with the IPL / BB, but very difficult to create less teams for 1 of the 3 domestic comps.
  18. Thought there was something about Prem teams having to have 4 televised home games per season minimum, that must have been an SPL ruling. Looking forward to our nervy 0-0 draw with Hamilton that keeps us up on the last day. Glad Dundee is first up with half our defence out as it doesn't matter what we do against them anyway. Gutted I can't make Tannadice for a gloatfest.
  19. I could be wrong but I think we're also due a TV home game after the split as we've only had the two vs Celtic plus the postponed one vs Aberdeen. Given our home games are likely to be vs Dundee, ICT, and Hamilton I can't imagine the TV companies salivating much.
  20. Only slight issue I have is how far behind live (or at least Sky TV) it is, makes following along on twitter or even on here on a Sunday impossible without being spoiled.
  21. This offer can go f**k itself, about the last 5 times I've put it on it's been +0.5 , cover the 0-0 then 2-2 correct score. Forgot to put it on tonight.
