  1. Has the Pitreavie lease issue been sorted then? Assume so given you're no longer training there. Good news for Dunfy if so.
  2. Richards-Everton has only a years contract at Thistle. Seems unlikely they'd sign him up for a year then loan him out for that entire period, hence I don't think he'll be coming to us or yourselves. He's a bit lost if not next to Gasparotto and I don't think too many Airdrie fans would be upset if he went to Dunfy. Far to prone to brainfreezes for my liking. ETA - f**k you elGringo, f**k you.
  3. I merely stated the facts about the players coming in/out not being a wage saved, as Burty suggested. Even he now concedes I was right. No rivalry at all. As far as I can tell, you're our gimps. We've you tied, bound, gagged and bent over our living room ottoman to use at our pleasure. How could we possibly consider you a rival in those circumstances? How very rude.
  4. Once more: One in, one out = no saving. No matter how you spin it. This hypothetical cover you required for CB was not on your wage bill. There is no saving. At the moment you're shelling out more for the defence than you were last month. Nice that you still think that you're right though, despite the facts.
  5. What's that to do with anything on this thread? Lost it, boy, lost it. ETA: It was a reasonably poor assumption had you read Potters statement....
  6. To be fair, Potter said as much last week. You just read into it something that wasn't there, as did Burty. Still.....at least you're saving a wage though, eh?
  7. Was that directed at me? If it was I don't know how you could possibly infer that I knew anything about Ugwu's contract given we're talking about Page out/Paterson in. While we're here...I'd assume Paterson was part time with Forfar? Is he going full time with Dunfy?
  8. Your efforts are getting very, very poor. Lay of the sherry, old boy.
  9. "Possibly help with some of the under 20's duties"....... HTH.
  10. Not at all fella. I'd much rather you walked down the road you're on. Nothing better than a bout of "I told you so"...
  11. Only using Dunfy style accountancy techniques could one-in-one-out be construed as saving a wage. No, you have boring posts as well. As long as your happy with the way results are going, signing a big haddy and your toothless strike force, them I'm happy too. COYP etc etc....
  12. What he's done here is bring in one of his mates, who Forfar fans aren't exactly raving about, as essentially cover, with an add on that he's going to help out with the U20's. I'm sorry but I cant see how that saves a wage at all. Was there a vacancy for the U20's? He's also let your top scorer go. It'll be interesting to see who he brings in but if I were a Dunfy fan I'd be worried about the latest developments.
  13. Not getting that at all. If Paterson comes in, he'll be used as cover for a position where you've already got cover, and that's a wage saved????
  14. You're off your tits mate.
  15. Don't know what the wages for that are but I'm sure it'll not be particulary high, however, the point still stands. He's given up on coaching and part time training for a shot at full time. I'm not saying he's wrong, I'm just saying he's not done it on a whim, and it's plausible that, in order to attract him, the remuneration had to be much better.
  16. Angry, angry man. It's perfectly plausible that Moffat is on that much. That equates to about £36k which is not unreasonable given it's now his full time occupation. He was supposed to be on circa £300 p/w at Ayr. I don't know what he did for a living but even if he was on around £20k, he'd only be marginally better off going to Dunfy if that was to be true. Rather than venting your spleen perhaps you could reply with facts?
  17. Surely in contention when Roberts gets the tin tack at Christmas. Good track record, Hurlford aint too far and it's the fashion to appoint fairly young managers.....
  18. There'll be the very same Darren Henderson, on BBC Alba, about to lift the Junior Cup with Hurlford.
  19. It'll be Western Union money transfer next to their Nigerian bank account. Buyer beware.
