Is McCabe the one who had a good game in one of the OF derbies? he looked good there, but I don't remember him doing all that much in the remaining fixtures tbh. I imagine he'll have no problem getting a club in the Championship or League 1. Rangers have a surprisingly large number of young players who go on to make careers in the English leagues. I'm thinking the likes of Mo Ross (for a while), McLean, McCormack, Adam, Steven Smith, Burke, etc. McCabe could be the start of a big exodus, a bit like the no to newco voting. Once someone does it, others will follow! I wonder what Green has to say about it?

Why me? What the hell did I do apart from say Rangers fans were no different from Celtic fans? Basically... Aberdeen joined the good guys. Haudit and Daudit have been ordered by the court to produce evidence that they took legal advice on potential conflict of interest and acted on that advice. Aberdeen bottled it and said no decision had been made. Falkirk and Thistle released suspicious statements about "not under the current conditions", suggesting they could be up for league reconstruction. The Morton owner mumbled something incoherent. There is a fear amongst some on here that a stitch up between the SPL and SFL 1 clubs in in the offing. I'm apparently now a Rangers fan. I think that sums up the key points, apologies if I missed any.

This is the Thistle statement. The first paragraph can be safely eliminated as it contains nothing of substance. So focusing on the relevant bits: We want sporting integrity, but we see £ signs. f**k sporting integrity. Now that we've established that we don't care about sporting integrity, this is our negotiating position. This is what we can be bought for. f**k the fans, f**k sporting integrity. Toss us the bones we've asked for, and we'll roll over. Thats how I read that statement.

I'm with the others expressing unease. That seems to be three of the bigger first division clubs who have havered around the point and added big fucking caveats. Is it maybe a calculated gamble that since the SPL clubs make up the majority of the fans, then hell mend the lower leagues? Losing our sporting integrity isn't worth having an extra playoff place.

Well fortunately, there is no precedent for the SPL looking after their own, without any regard to the good of the game at the lower level. The SPL chairmen can vote no, and then that is that. They don't need to contribute anything more. The next step for Rangers would be their SFL application, which doesn't involve the SPL clubs.

Yep. They should be treated exactly like any other club that chooses to apply. The one that comes to mind is Cowdenbeath. Tiny home attendances, and homeless after this season with nothing lined up (as far as I know). This is my concern about saying no to them in the SFL. It might require a lot of hoopjumping and money, but if the SFL choose to vote in Cove (for example), Rangers might well just gobble up Cowdenbeath.

I heard like Craigkillie, that the rule about 3 years of accounts wasn't binding. There is a whole range of criteria, and I thought they basically had to vote for best fit. And in all honesty, I can't see a club with a better case than a Rangers newco for admission to the third. Straight to the first though? They can f**k right off with that! Edited to add, I can't recall where I heard, on reflection, it might actually have been from Craigkillie!

Why? Why can't Rangers go into the third division? I see no problem with that. They have a right to be treated according to the rules, and if they apply for the vacancy at the bottom of the run, they should be considered. They have the supporter base, the stadium, and the potential to benefit both themselves and the league as a whole, and they could be good for getting more media attention and bigger crowds for the other lower league teams. They should not be allowed in the SPL or first, but I see no problem with them starting at the bottom as a new club and working their way up.

If you have an smart phone, you can use sports tracker for free. http://www.sports-tracker.com/ Uses your phone GPS and seems to be pretty accurate. Lets you upload your data and then really analyse it. Admittedly, I personally have only used it for walking so far, but a couple of my friends use it for cycling and swear by it.

I got exactly what I wanted from there. A lovely road bike in fantastic nick for £80. Fairly old I suspect, but really light. First time I've had a racer (rather than a mountain bike), and first time I've been on a bike since about 2006! Probably didn't help that I took it for a wee spin for the first time at near enough 11pm, but regardless, I'm happy with it! Struggling a bit with the concept of using the drop handlebars rather than the flat ones, and I'm not used to the gears being on the frame rather than handle bars, but I guess that'll all come with practice. Obviously nowhere near as fit as the rest of you guys on this thread, but it appears that thanks to doing plenty of exercise biking, I've still got plenty of power in my legs. Just a bit worried about my stamina, so hopefully I'll train myself up.

In all seriousness, you're going to need some evidence of this. So noise diaries, and you could also try recording the sounds, so that you can play the authorities (if you go to any) actual tangible evidence. Spend a few days getting some revenge to really annoy them and make them ramp it up. Then stop...wait a couple days, and then start recording. Once you've got a solid weeks worth of evidence, you're sorted. It sounds like you've already done the nice thing and asked them to stop, so on to the next step.

Weirdly enough, the same trick seems to work with Italians and Peroni.
