  1. The way I'm walking at the moment, my guess is that this baby hasn't left it until the last minute!
  2. Ruairidh's head was engaged when I was checked at 36 weeks and I went at 36wks and 6 but was told that esp with the first the head being engaged didn't meant I would go early....! I'm 36 weeks today so I'm on any day now mode......I'll prob go to 42 weeks this time!!
  3. Has anyone got a good Slow Cooker Recip book? I want to get one so that I can try new things esp once the baby is here. TIA
  4. How many weeks are you? I think the head (I'm sure Ayrgirl will correct me if I'm wrong!) can engage as early as 34 weeks.
  5. Make proper scottish pnacakes, none of this crepe crap!
  6. Excellent! I'm a week away today from where I was when I went into labour with Ruairidh, we're pretty much organised and have the babysitters lined up for Ruairidh!
  7. It's tragic when a young person's life is taken, I lost my best friend the week before she was 18 in a car accident, she had been accepted to the Navy and they were going to sponsor her through a Naval Engineering degree. Such a waste of a talented young woman. My wee one will most likely be called for her.
  8. Nice age gap. We decided to stop trying and I went back to uni..... I was pregnant by the end of January with Ruairidh!
  9. Congratulations, how old is Hannah? When I had Ruairidh and went to baby groups there were more boys than girls. Things about to even themselves up in this house gender wise.
  10. Went and got a pack of vests and body suits in tiny baby size today after yesterday's scan. Was chatting to my GP today and she said it would be more worrying if Ruairidh had been a big baby and this one little, wasn't in to see her about that but she was great and really reassuring.
  11. That is very true and at least the wee red books now actually contain growth charts for breastfed babies.
  12. I know, just didn't expect such a drop through the percentiles. She's not even tracking on his line, she is below that. And then there was all the hassle having had a little baby to get him to gain weight from the HV.
  13. Looks like I'm going to have another small baby. Baby is fine but is little, back in a fortnight for another growth scan. No reason for it to be small, have good diet, don't drink or smoke and watch my caffine intake. Gutted as a month ago we were tracking spot on the 50th percentile.
  14. I've got scan number 10 in the morning. RAH have been great again. This is a growth scan as my wee boy was small for his gestation. If all is well I may get the choice to go midwife led instead of consultant lead. 35 weeks this Thursday, had Ruairidh at 37 so we're in getting organised mode here as I don't want to be caught out like I was last time. Hospital bag is still in the car after Friday's trip to triage
  15. Well, I was sick of you stalking me on there as well as here!
  16. Trip to mat triage in the early hours. Terrible pain in back and stomach. Turns out it's a suspected uti as there were proteins and something else in urine. Been given anti biotics.
  17. My wee one got his first tooth 2weeks after his first birthday!
  18. Consultant on Monday coming...but he's rather handsome so I don't mind! My in laws wouldn't dare!
  19. My 2 yr old was very co-operative this afternoon and slept for three hours! Would have been cruel not to join him! I just know he's going to stop napping as soon as the baby arrives and I want them both to nap
  20. Indegestion and so uncomfortable.....can't see me getting to 40 weeks!
